Esad Ribić
Esad T. Ribić (born 10 November 1972) is a Croatian comic book artist and animator, known for his work on various titles for Marvel Comics, including ''Loki'', '' Silver Surfer: Requiem'', '' Sub-Mariner: The Depths'' and the 2015 ''Secret Wars''. Early life Esad T. Ribić was born in 1972 in Zagreb, Croatia. Career Ribić graduated from the School of Applied Arts and Design in Zagreb as a graphic designer. He started making comics in the early 90s, doing shorts strips and illustrations for the Croatian '' Plavi'' magazine (Vjesnik) and German '' Gespenster Geschichten'' (Bastei Verlag). Ribić also worked for Zagreb Film as a film animator on such series as ''The Little Flying Bears'' and ''Lapitch the Little Shoemaker''. The New York Comic Con is an annual New York City fan convention dedicated to Western comics, graphic novels, anime, manga, video games, cosplay, toys, movies, and television. It was first held in 2006. Zagreb Film is a Croatian film company principally known for its animation studio. From Zagreb, it was founded in 1953. They have produced hundreds of animated films, as well as documentaries, television commercials, educational films and several feature films. Eternals (comics)
The Eternals are a fictional extraterrestrial race of humanoids appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. They were created by Jack Kirby, making their first appearance in ''The Eternals'' #1 (July 1976). In the Marvel Universe, the Eternals are an offshoot of humanity known as ''Homo immortalis'' which were created one million years ago by the enigmatic alien Celestials to defend Earth with their superhuman powers and abilities. Their primary adversaries are the Deviants, who share a similar origin and pose a regular threat to humanity. Due to their virtual immortality, Eternals have largely secluded themselves from humans, with their god-like status forming the basis of various mythological figures around the world. Ivan Brandon (born 1976) is a comic book writer known for his work on titles such as DC Comics' '' Final Crisis Aftermath: Escape'' and ''Men of War'' as well as creator-owned series ''Viking'', '' The Cross Bronx'' and ''NYC Mech'', published by Image Comics. Alejandro Jodorowsky Prullansky (; born 17 February 1929) is a Chilean-French avant-garde filmmaker. Best known for his 1970s films '' El Topo'' and '' The Holy Mountain'', Jodorowsky has been "venerated by cult cinema enthusiasts" for his work which "is filled with violently surreal images and a hybrid blend of mysticism and religious provocation". Born to Jewish-Ukrainian parents in Chile, Jodorowsky experienced an unhappy and alienated childhood, and so immersed himself in reading and writing poetry. ''The Metabarons'' or ''The Saga of The Meta-Barons'' is a science fiction comic series relating the history of a dynasty of perfect warriors known as the Metabarons. ''The Metabarons'' series was written by creator Alejandro Jodorowsky and illustrated by Argentinian artist Juan Giménez. The series, published by Humanoïdes Associés, is complete, the last volume having been released at the end of 2003. The first appearance of a Metabaron (chronologically the last of the Metabarons) was May 1981 in the '' Incal'' comic book series. This was followed by a series of prequels that concerned this character's origin, presented as the narration of the android Tonto to the android Lothar, of his masters' achievements. Jason Aaron (born January 28, 1973) is an American comic book writer, known for his creator-owned series '' Scalped'' and ''Southern Bastards'', as well as his work on Marvel series '' Ghost Rider'', ''Wolverine'', '' PunisherMAX'', ''Thor'', and ''The Avengers''. Early life Jason Aaron was born in Jasper, Alabama. His cousin, Gustav Hasford, who wrote the semi-autobiographical novel '' The Short-Timers'' (1979), on which the feature film '' Full Metal Jacket'' (1987) was based, was a large influence on Aaron.
