Erik Simonson
Erik Simonson (born May 26, 1968) is a Minnesota politician and former member of the Minnesota Senate. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL), he represented District 7 which includes the city of Duluth in St. Louis County in northeastern Minnesota. Early life Simonson was born in Duluth, Minnesota. Minnesota legislature Simonson was first elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives in 2012 representing District 7B and served two terms. Simonson was then elected to the Minnesota Senate in 2016. Roger Reinert
Roger Jonathon Reinert (born July 22, 1970) is an American politician, 40th mayor of Duluth, Minnesota, and member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL). He served in the Minnesota House of Representatives, Minnesota House from 2009 to 2011 and the Minnesota Senate from 2011 to 2017. From 2004 to 2009, Reinert served on the Duluth City Council, where he was elected president twice. Jennifer A. McEwen ( ; born May 14, 1977) is a Minnesota politician and member of the Minnesota Senate. A member of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party (DFL), she represents Senate District 8, which includes the city of Duluth in St. Louis County. Early life, education, and career McEwen is a Duluth native who had received her B.A. from the University of Maine. She then attended the Hamline University School of Law, earning a J.D. She became an attorney for disabled workers and board president of the Damiano Center, where she has worked with families struggling with food security. McEwen was also previously a public defender. The Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL) is a political party in the U.S. state of Minnesota affiliated with the national Democratic Party.
