Eric Wright (cornerback, Born 1959)
Eric Cortez Wright (born April 18, 1959) is a former American professional football player who was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2nd round of the 1981 NFL Draft. Before that, the 6'1", 183 lbs. cornerback from the University of Missouri was an all-Big Eight defensive back in 1979 and '80. He played on three University of Missouri teams that appeared in bowl games, and was selected for Missouri's all-century team in 1990. Wright shares the Missouri record for the most pass interceptions in a game (three vs. San Diego State in 1979). Considered one of the best cover cornerbacks of his day, Wright played in ten NFL seasons, from 1981–1990, all for the 49ers including starting on four Super Bowl-winning teams. Eric Andrew Wright (born July 24, 1985) is a former American football cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played college football at USC and UNLV. Wright also played for the Detroit Lions, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and San Francisco 49ers. College career USC Trojans Wright attended USC for two years before attending UNLV. After being redshirted his first year, he was a starter his second year, and started in the 2005 Orange Bowl, where he recorded four tackles and an interception. UNLV Rebels Wright transferred to UNLV after being expelled by USC. Police found 136 tablets of Ecstasy and GHB in Wright's apartment while investigating a sexual assault allegation against Wright. Eric Wright (May 4, 1929 – October 9, 2015) was a Canadian writer of mystery novels. Life Wright was born on Kennington Park Road, in South London, England. He was the son of seamstress Caroline (Curnow), and carter Joseph Wright.Encyclopedia of Literature in Canada. University of Toronto Press, 2002. Wright was born into a large, poor family of ten children. After growing up in Lambeth, he immigrated to Canada in 1951. Eric Lloyd Wright (born November 8, 1929) is an American architect, son of Lloyd WFrank Lloyd Wright, Jr. and the grandson of the famed Frank Lloyd Wright. Early life and education Wright was born in Los Angeles on November 8, 1929 to Helen Taggart and Lloyd Wright (Frank Lloyd Wright Jr.). His father was a landscape architect and architect who was the eldest son of Frank Lloyd Wright Sr. Educated at the University of California, Los Angeles, Eric worked in his grandfather's (1948-1956) and father's (1956-1978) firm as an apprentice. He received his license as an architect in 1967, before establishing his own firm, Eric Lloyd Wright Architecture and Planning, in 1978. Eric Lynn Wright (September 7, 1964 – March 26, 1995), known professionally as Eazy-E, was an American rapper who propelled West Coast rap and gangsta rap by leading the group N.W.A and its label, Ruthless Records. He is often referred to as the "Godfather of Gangsta Rap". Born and raised in Compton, California, Wright had several legal troubles before founding Ruthless in 1987. After a short solo career with frequent collaboration with Ice Cube and Dr. Dre, they joined, forming N.W.A, later that year. Air Commodore Eric William "Ricky" Wright, (21 September 1919 – 5 November 2007) was a senior officer in the Royal Air Force who flew Hurricanes with No. 605 Squadron in the Battle of Britain. Early year He was educated at Cambridge County School and the Technical College. He joined the RAF Volunteer Reserve in June 1939 and was called up when he had completed his training as a pilot. Once he had completed his training as a pilot he was called up into the regular air force. Royal Air Force Wright joined No. 605 (County of Warwick) Squadron in July 1940, and saw action during the Battle of Britain. In early September he shared in the destruction of a Messerschmitt Bf 110 and a Dornier 17. On 15 September Wright shot down a Dornier 17 over Maidstone.
