Eric Ramsay (golfer)
Eric Thomas Ramsay (born 2 August 1979) is a Scottish professional golfer. Ramsay was born in Dundee. In 2005 he won the Australian Amateur and finished in a tie for 23rd place at the 2005 Open Championship, one stroke behind Lloyd Saltman in the race for the silver medal as the low amateur. He turned professional later that year. Ramsay has played on the second tier European Challenge Tour since 2006 and picked up his first victory on tour in 2009 at the DHL Wroclaw Challenge. The 2005 European Amateur Team Championship took place 28 June – 2 July at Hillside Golf Club in Southport, England. It was the 24th men's golf European Amateur Team Championship. Venue The club was founded in 1911. The course, located in Southport, 20 kilometres north of the city center of Liverpool, England, is a links course, with all the holes being between and on mainly large dunes and local indigenous pinewoods, typical of the area. It is physically close to both the Royal Birkdale Golf Club, near its south-western boundaries, and to the Southport and Ainsdale Golf Club. The European Amateur Team Championship is a European amateur team golf championship for men organised by the European Golf Association which was introduced in 1959. The championship was played in odd-numbered years from 1959 to 2007 and has been played annually since 2008 (with the exception of 2012). Richard McEvoy
Richard McEvoy (born 13 June 1979) is an English professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. In July 2018, he had his third Challenge Tour win, the Le Vaudreuil Golf Challenge and then won the Porsche European Open, on the European Tour, the following week. Amateur career McEvoy's amateur wins included the 2001 Lytham Trophy, and the 2001 Irish Amateur Open Championship. He was a member of the 2001 Great Britain & Ireland Walker Cup team, and turned professional at the end of the year. Professional career McEvoy won two third-tier PGA EuroPro Tour events in 2002, before gaining a European Tour card at the 2003 final qualifying school where he was also medalist. He has played several seasons on the tour, but never made enough money in a season to retain his card, until 2010. Andrew Butterfield
Andrew Butterfield (born 1 July 1972) is an English professional golfer. He played on the European Tour and its development tour, the Challenge Tour, between 1996 and 2012. He won one tournament on the Challenge Tour, in June 2009 at The Princess in Sweden. Career Butterfield was born in London, England. He turned professional in 1993. In 1995, he won the Kent Open and gained a place on the Challenge Tour for the following season. He played on the Challenge Tour until qualifying for the European Tour through Q-School in 1999. Butterfield did not perform well enough on tour in 2000 to retain his card and had to go back to the Challenge Tour in 2001. He got his European Tour card back through Q-School again in 2001 and played on the European Tour in 2002 but did not find any success on tour.
