Eren Eyüboğlu
Eren Eyüboğlu (née Ernestine Leibovici; 1913–1988) was a Romanian-born Turkish painter, ceramicist, and mosaic artist. She is considered one of the forerunners of modernism in Turkey. Biography Ernestine Leibovici was born on 5 February 1913 in Iași, Romania. She attended George Enescu National University of Arts (formerly Academy of Fine Arts Lași), where she graduated in 1928. From 1930 to 1932, she continued her education at Andre Lhote's studio (also known as Academy André Lhote) in Paris and Académie Julian. In 1933, she studied art in Istanbul. In 1933, she married artist Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu, whom she met at Andre Lhote's studio. When she married, Ernestine adopted the Turkish name “Eren”. Eren Şen (born 28 September 1984 in Hamburg) is a German- Turkish football player. He started his playing career in the youth teams of FSV Harburg, later joining FC St. Pauli and Hamburger SV, and made his debut in professional football in 2003 for Hamburger SV. Later he played for FC Thun in Switzerland where he played in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Cup. In 2006, he joined the Turkish club Konyaspor, staying on until 2009 when he left for Diyarbakırspor. Eren Keskin (born April 24, 1959 in Bursa, Turkey) is a Kurdish lawyer and human rights activist in Turkey. She is the vice-president of the Turkish Human Rights Association (İHD) and a former president of its Istanbul branch. She co-founded the project "Legal Aid For Women Who Were Raped Or Otherwise Sexually Abused by National Security Forces”, to expose abuses happening to women in Turkish prisons. She has been arrested, imprisoned, and the object of numerous lawsuits in relation to her human rights activities.
