Enrique Mora Benavente (born October 15, 1958, in Córdoba) is a Spanish diplomat who has been serving as the Chief of Staff of Josep Borrell, High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy of the European Union and as deputy secretary general of the European External Action Service (EEAS). Career A former member of the Spanish diplomatic service, Mora has been posted in Beirut, Cyprus and Helsinki, among others. Since 2021, Mora has been the European Union envoy coordinating talks with Iran on reviving the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). In August 2021, he represented the EU at the inauguration of Ebrahim Raisi as President of Iran. Josep Borrell Fontelles (; born 24 April 1947) is a Spanish politician who served as High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission from 2019 to 2024. The High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission (HR/VP) is the chief co-ordinator and representative of the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) within the European Union (EU). Narges Mohammadi (; born 21 April 1972) is an Iranian human rights activist. She is the vice president of the Defenders of Human Rights Center (DHRC), headed by her fellow Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Shirin Ebadi.
