Emmanuel Neno
Emmanuel Neno is a Pakistani Christian author and translator. Major work Along with Robert McCulloch he completed a new Urdu translation of the Catechism of the Catholic Church in 2014. The Pontifical Council for Promoting the New Evangelization has approved the Urdu translation and authorised its publication. It took thirteen years to complete. The Pakistan Board for the National Language has praised the translation project for its contribution to Pakistani culture and the Urdu language. In October 2012, Parts 1 & 2 of the Urdu translation of the Catechism of the Catholic Church were presented to Rino Fisichella, President of the Pontifical Council for New Evangelization, by Bishop Sebastian Shaw from Pakistan and Robert McCulloch in Rome. Sahiwal (Punjabi and ur, ), formerly known as Montgomery, is a city in Punjab, Pakistan. It is the 21st largest city of Pakistan by population and the administrative capital of both Sahiwal District and Sahiwal Division. Sebastian Francis Shaw
Sebastian Francis Shaw (born 14 November 1957) is a Pakistani Roman Catholic archbishop. He was born in Padri Jo Goth, Sindh, Pakistan on 14 November 1957. He received his early education at Fatima High School and attended the Government Degree College. He received his religious training under the Order of Friars Minor and at the Christ the King seminary in Karachi and was ordained a priest in Lahore, Pakistan on 6 December 1991. Before joining the Franciscans he was a teacher. He was rector of the Juniorate and Postulancy of Dar ul Naim Seminary in Lahore from 1991 until 1995, taught at St. Mary's Minor Seminary, Lahore, and has also been Provincial of the Order of Friars Minor in Pakistan. On 14 February 2009 he was appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Lahore by Pope Benedict XVI. Shaw holds a Master of Science degree in Guidance and Counselling from De La Salle University in Manila. The Pontifical Council for Social Communications ( la, Pontificium Consilium de Communicationibus Socialibus) was a dicastery of the Roman Curia that was suppressed in March 2016 and merged into the Secretariat for Communications (now " Dicastery for Communication"). The Catechetical Centre, Karachi is the organization responsible for catechesis in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Karachi in Pakistan.
