Elvana Gjata
Elvana Gjata (; born 3 February 1987) is an Albanian singer-songwriter, actress and entrepreneur. Born and raised in Tirana, she has been referred to as a "Diva of Albanian music". She rose to recognition in Albania and other Albanian-speaking territories in the Balkans following the release of her two studio albums, ''Mamës'' (2007) and ''Afër dhe larg'' (2011). The singer saw further success through many acclaimed singles, as well as her extended plays ''3 (Elvana Gjata EP), 3'' (2018) and ''Çelu'' (2021), and has achieved multiple number one singles in the Albanian singles chart. 3 (Elvana Gjata EP)
''3'' is the second acoustic and live extended play by Albanian singer and songwriter Elvana Gjata. It was released on 10 February 2018 through digital download and streaming outlets. The extended play contains six live and acoustic covers of songs written by Pirro Çako and produced by Darko Dimitrov. It notably includes a poem written by the Albanian Renaissance writer and national poet of Albania, Naim Frashëri. The record incorporates elements of pop folk, pop rock and folk in its production and beats, which marked a significant departure from her previous work. Elvana Gjata published a short documentary film dealing with the journey of the composition of the EP. She additionally held an acoustic performance in Tirana. ''Çelu'' (; ) is the third extended play (EP) by Albanian singer and songwriter Elvana Gjata released on 16 April 2021 by Loudcom Media under exclusive license from East Music Matters (EMM). Gjata contributed significantly to the writing process of and collaborated extensively with Albanian composer Pirro Çako and Macedonian producer Darko Dimitrov on its songs. Elsina Hidersha
Elsina Hidersha (15 March 198928 February 2011), known professionally as Emmy, was an Albanian singer. Her most notable hits were “Loje fjalesh” , "Pse të dua ty", "A ma jep", "Rastësisht u pamë", and "Let It Play". Death Hidersha was hit with a car allegedly driven by her ex-boyfriend, 47-year-old Kosovo-Albanian businessman Aziz Kelmendi. The police said they suspect the incident was intentional and was a matter of jealousy. Reportedly Kelmendi was heavily intoxicated at the time of the incident. The incident happened in the late hours of 26 February 2011, when Hidersha was leaving a night club where she had been performing. Kelmendi allegedly followed and hit her with his car, although he denies the accusations. Hidersha was brought to the Military Hospital of Tirana suffering from severe brain damage and skull fractures. She lapsed into a coma and died on the morning of 28 February 2011. Radio Televizioni Shqiptar (; ; formerly TVSH , now mostly referred to as RTSH ) is the national public broadcasting company of Albania. Founded in 1938, it operates several radio and television channels, over a domestic transmitter network as well as satellite. Top Fest
''Top Fest'' was an Albanian music competition organised by Top Channel. It began airing in 2004 with its last edition being in 2015. The event was annually held in Tirana, Albania. The songs were usually performed in Albanian with artists from Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia and other Albanian-speaking territories. From its 7th edition (2010), the participants performed their entries 100% live. Format Since 2010, the show has been split into three phases.
