Ellen Sarah Bushell (born 23 January 1884 in The Liberties, Dublin, died 11 August 1948 in County Dublin) was an Irish textile artist and political activist. She played a significant role in the Irish War of Independence, as a messenger, tailor, gun runner and safe house operator. Ellen Louisa Burrell (June 12, 1850 – December 3, 1938) was an American mathematics professor, head of the Department of Pure Mathematics at Wellesley College from 1897 to 1916. Early life Burrell was born in Lockport, New York, the daughter of Myron Louis Burrell and Mary Jones Burrell. She earned a bachelor's degree from Wellesley College in 1880, in the same class as her future colleagues Katharine Lee Bates and Charlotte Fitch Roberts. She went to Germany for further studies at Göttingen in 1896 and 1897. Career Burrell taught at Rockford Seminary in Illinois for several years, from 1881 to 1886. She returned to Wellesley to teach in 1886. Ellen Burka ( Danby; August 11, 1921 – September 12, 2016) was a Canadian-Dutch figure skater and coach. She became a member of the Order of Canada in 1978 and was inducted into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame in 1996. Faryion Edward Wardrip (born March 6, 1959) is an American serial killer who sexual assault, sexually assaulted and murdered five women. Four of the women were killed in Wichita Falls, Texas, Wichita Falls, Texas, and the surrounding counties, and one woman was murdered in Fort Worth, Texas, Fort Worth. Texas Killing Fields
The Texas Killing Fields is a title used to roughly denote the area surrounding the Interstate 45 (I-45) corridor southeast of Houston, where since the early 1970s, 34 bodies have been found, and specifically to a patch of land in League City, Texas where four women were found between 1983 and 1991. The bodies along the corridor were mainly of girls or young women. Furthermore, many additional young girls have disappeared from this area who are still missing. Most of the victims were aged between 12 and 25 years. Some shared similar physical features, such as similar hairstyles. Despite efforts by the League City, Texas police, along with the assistance of the FBI, very few of these murders have been solved. Ellen Bass (born June 16, 1947) is an American poet and author. She has won three Pushcart Prizes and a Lambda Literary Award for her 2002 book ''Mules of Love''. She co-authored the 1991 book '' The Courage to Heal'' about recovery from child sexual abuse. She received a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts in 2014 and was elected chancellor of the Academy of American Poets in 2017.
