Elena Gadel
Elena Gadel (born 12 November 1982) is a Spanish singer. She placed eleventh in Operacion Triunfo 2. Her debut single in 2002, ''Es Por Ti'', claimed the number four slot on the Spanish charts, and in 2003, she had success in the pop group Lunae. In 2005, she starred in the ''Catalan'' musical ''Mar i Cel'', for which she was awarded best actress at the Spanish Theatre Awards. In 2022, she was part of the jury of the TV3 show ''Eufòria ''Eufòria'' (Catalan for "Euphoria") is a Catalan music talent show. It premiered on March 3, 2022, on the television channel TV3. There are 16 participants and the final prize is a record contract, sing with Miki Núñez in the Summer Song fro ...''. She was, too, in the second edition, that took place the following year. Lunae
Lunae was a short-lived Spanish pop group built upon the success of ''Operación Triunfo'' a reality show talent contest popular on Spain's TVE network. The band was composed by putting together singers that were not given the chance to pursue a solo career after the show, and was composed of Tessa (born 7 November 1982), Elena Gadel (born 11 November 1982) and Marey (born 19 December 1983) In the summer of 2003, their debut single ' Hipnotizadas' (produced by Xenomania) was a minor summertime hit across Spain, and it was used in a Pringles advertisement tie-in. In September, Lunae released their debut album, Olor a Nuevo. It included 13 tracks, with 3 in English.
