Ek Nari Ek Brahmachari
() is a 1971 Indian Hindi-language comedy film, produced by P. Gangadhar Rao Jothee Navshakthee Combines and directed by K. Pratyagatma. It stars Jeetendra and Mumtaz, with music composed by Shankar Jaikishan. The film is a remake of the Telugu film '' Brahmachari'' (1968) which itself was based on the 1967 Tamil movie '' Penne Nee Vaazhga''. Plot Mohan Kumar S. Chaudhary is a student who is a devout worshiper of Hanuman and vows celibacy. Neena, his classmate, quite likes his nobleness. Once, they move to a picnic, where Mohan unintentionally misplaces her locket. So, remorsefully, he bestows his pendant. Here, his naughty mates take a photograph and forge a love letter to Neena. Raisaheb Surajbhan Chaudhary, his father's domineer, is annoyed by Mohan's behavior. K. Pratyagatma (born Kolli Kotayya Pratyagatma), also known as K. P. Atma (31 October 1925 – 8 June 2001) was an Indian film journalist, director and producer known for his works in Telugu and Hindi cinema. He has garnered three National Film Awards. Keshto Mukherjee (7 August 1925 – 3 March 1982) was an Indian actor and comedian. He was born in Kolkata, Bengal Presidency, British India. He specialised in comic drunkard roles in Hindi films. Though he was famous for his drunkard typecast role in Hindi films, he was a teetotaller throughout his life. However in his own interview published in the Stardust magazine in 1981, he mentioned the following; "I drink a lot. Mohammed Rafi
Mohammed Rafi (24 December 1924 – 31 July 1980) was an Indian playback singer. He is considered to have been one of the greatest and most influential singers of the Indian subcontinent.
