EénVandaag (''OneToday'') is a current affairs programme broadcast on the Dutch public television network NPO 1 (formerly Nederland 1), The programme, which airs on Monday to Saturday evenings at 6:15pm CET is a co-production of the broadcasting associations AVRO and TROS, and since 2014 AVROTROS. ''Eén Vandaag'' initially aired on Nederland 2 as ''Twee Vandaag'' and was launched in 1993 as a joint-production between the pillar broadcasters TROS, the EO and Veronica. Up until that point, the three companies had produced their own weekly current affairs programmes - ''TROS Aktua'', ''Tijdsein'' (EO) and ''Nieuwslijn'' (Veronica). Since then, the roll-call of participating broadcasters has changed several times. Currently, the programme is presented on alternate nights by Bas van Werven (originalfrom TROS) and Pieter Jan Hagens (original from AVRO). The programme's editor-in-chief is Jan Kriek. Pieter Jan Hagens (born 14 August 1958) is a Dutch radio and television presenter. He is known for presenting several news-related shows, including ''EenVandaag'' and '' Buitenhof''. He is also known for presenting the television show ''Wie is de Mol?''. Career He is known for presenting the current affairs show ''EenVandaag'' and political interview show '' Buitenhof''. He also presented the radio program ''Spijkers met Koppen''. He also presented the popular science show ''Jules Unlimited''. In the show, he completed multiple extreme challenges, including jumping from a bridge, cave diving and standing on a flying Boeing Stearman aircraft. Rik van de Westelaken (born 22 April 1971) is a Dutch television presenter. He is known for presenting television programs which include the ''NOS Journaal'', '' Peking Express'' and ''Wie is de Mol?''. Maria Cornelia Frederika "Rita" Verdonk (born 18 October 1955) is a Dutch politician and businesswoman formerly affiliated with the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) and later Proud of the Netherlands (TON), which she founded in 2007. Rozemarijn "Roos" Moggré (born 6 July 1981) is a Dutch presenter, news anchor and journalist. Career Moggré began her career as presenter at the regional television channel RTV Utrecht. TROS, originally an acronym for Televisie Radio Omroep Stichting ("Television Radio Broadcasting Foundation"), was a Dutch television and radio organisation part of the Dutch public broadcasting system. This broadcasting association was particularly well known for its entertainment programmes, quizzes and focus on Dutch folk music in programmes like and the digital channel TROS Sterren TV. AVROTROS
AVROTROS () is a Dutch radio and television broadcaster that is part of the Dutch public broadcasting system. It was founded in 2014 as the result of a merger between the Algemene Vereniging Radio Omroep (AVRO) and the TROS, Televisie Radio Omroep Stichting (TROS). The name AVROTROS has been used for jointly produced programmes since 1 January 2014. Since 7 September 2014, all existing AVRO and TROS programmes have also been broadcast under the name AVROTROS. Building Before 2014, the AVRO was housed in the building in Hilversum from 2000, while the TROS operated from the former Christelijk Lyceum, also in Hilversum, from 1970.
