Echobrain (album)
Echobrain was an American rock/metal musical group formed in 2000, prominent for featuring bass guitarist Jason Newsted after his departure from Metallica. They released three albums and disbanded in 2005. History Echobrain was formed in 2000 by Newsted, drummer Brian Sagrafena and singer/guitarist Dylan Donkin, all of whom had close contact with one another throughout the late-1990s after they met at a Super Bowl party at Newsted's home in 1995. On a road trip to Baja, Mexico, Sagrafena and Donkin recorded some rough demos. These recordings eventually caught Newsted's attention, who then offered to help out on bass guitar and assist with songwriting. In May 2000, they entered a studio to record the demos more professionally, with help from several musicians including Newsted's then-colleague and Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett, and former Faith No More guitarist Jim Martin. Dylan Donkin

Kirk Hammett
Kirk Lee Hammett (born November 18, 1962) is an American musician who has been the lead guitarist of heavy metal band Metallica since 1983. Prior to joining Metallica, he co-formed the thrash metal band Exodus in 1979. In 2023, Hammett, along with bandmate James Hetfield, was ranked 23rd on ''Rolling Stone'''s list of Greatest Guitarists of All Time. ''Greendale'' is the 27th studio album by Neil Young. Young and Crazy Horse's ''Greendale'' is a 10-song musical novel set in a fictional California seaside town of the same name. Based on the saga of the Green family, ''Greendale'' combines numerous themes on corruption, observation of the passing of time, environmentalism and mass media consolidation. Recording and writing Young recorded the album between July and September 2002 at his Broken Arrow Ranch. The sessions were produced by Young and filmmaker L.A. Johnson. The sessions feature Young on guitar, organ and harmonica backed only by drummer Ralph Molina and bassist Billy Talbot of longtime collaborators Crazy Horse. Robert Jens Rock (born April 19, 1954) is a Canadian record producer, recording engineer and musician. In 1976, Rock joined Little Mountain Sound Studios, starting out as a recording engineer and sound mixer. During his time there, he collaborated with producer Bruce Fairbairn, engineering and mixing several influential rock albums, including Loverboy's '' Get Lucky'' (1981), Bon Jovi's '' Slippery When Wet'' (1986), and Aerosmith's '' Permanent Vacation'' (1987). Rock and singer-songwriter Paul Hyde formed the band Payola$ in 1978. James Blanco Martin (born July 21, 1961) is an American guitarist who played with the rock band Faith No More from 1983 to late 1993. Career In the early 1980s, Martin played guitar in the thrash metal band Vicious Hatred. Faith No More Martin joined Faith No More in 1983, four years after the group's formation. He played on the albums '' We Care a Lot'', '' Introduce Yourself'', their breakthrough record '' The Real Thing'', with new vocalist Mike Patton replacing Chuck Mosley, and '' Angel Dust''. Following the release of ''Angel Dust'', Martin left the group for reasons that remain unknown. Faith No More is an American Rock music, rock band from San Francisco, California, formed in 1979. Before September 1983, the band performed under the names Sharp Young Men and later Faith No Man. Bassist Billy Gould, keyboardist/rhythm guitarist Roddy Bottum and drummer Mike Bordin are the longest-remaining members of the band, having been involved since its inception.
