Eberron
Eberron is a campaign setting for the ''Dungeons & Dragons'' (''D&D'') role-playing game. The game is set primarily on the continent of Khorvaire following a vast destructive war. Eberron is designed to accommodate traditional ''D&D'' elements and races within a differently toned setting; Eberron combines a fantasy tone with pulp magazine, pulp and dark adventure elements, and some non-traditional fantasy technologies such as trains, skyships, and mechanical beings which are all powered by Magic of Dungeons & Dragons, magic. Eberron was created by author and game designer Keith Baker (game designer), Keith Baker as the winning entry for Wizards of the Coast's Fantasy Setting Search, a competition run in 2002 to establish a new setting for the ''D&D'' game. Keith Baker (game Designer)
Keith Baker is an American game designer and Fantasy literature, fantasy novel author. In addition to working with Wizards of the Coast on the creation of Eberron, he has also contributed material for Goodman Games, Paizo Publishing and Green Ronin Publishing. In 2014, Baker and Jennifer Ellis co-founded the indie tabletop game company Twogether Studios. Personal life Baker lives in Portland, Oregon. He has a tattoo of the Dragonmarked house#House Cannith, Greater Mark of Making on his right arm. He is married to product designer Jenn Ellis. Career Prior to working in the role-playing game industry, he worked in the video game industry with Magnet Interactive Studios and a Colorado company, VR1. Keith Baker started as a freelancer known for his work at Atlas Games. ''Eberron Campaign Setting'' is a hardcover accessory for the 3.5 edition of the ''Dungeons & Dragons'' fantasy role-playing game. Contents The ''Eberron Campaign Setting'' book introduces Eberron, and provides the core campaign setting, including campaign-specific rules and details on the fictional continent of Khorvaire. Rich Burlew
Rich Burlew (born September 1, 1974) is an American author, game designer, and graphic designer. He is best known for ''The Order of the Stick'' webcomic, for which he was ranked fifth on ComixTalk's list of the Top 25 People in Webcomics for 2007. He has also written several works for Wizards of the Coast's role-playing game ''Dungeons & Dragons''.
