Elhaida Dani (; born 17 February 1993) is an Albanian singer-songwriter. Born and raised in Shkodër, Dani performed in diverse singing competitions and started to play piano as a child. She rose to national recognition in the Albanian-speaking Balkans, after her victories at Star Academy, Star Academy Albania, Top Fest and . In Italy, she is also prominent for being the winner of the first series of ''The Voice of Italy''. Darko Dimitrov ( ; born 21 January 1973) is a Macedonian songwriter, record producer, arranger and record executive. Highly acclaimed for revitalising the Yugoslav mainstream pop music scene, which also influenced the surrounding Balkan countries, he has received international recognition for working with many popular foreign artists. Biography Darko Dimitrov was born on 21 January 1973 in Skopje, SFR Yugoslavia (present-day North Macedonia), to prominent Macedonian singer and composer, Slave Dimitrov. His family has a rich musical history—his grandfather was the prominent opera and traditional music singer, Blagoja Petrov Karagjule. Kënga Magjike 2017 was the 19th edition of the annual Albanian music competition Kënga Magjike. It was organised by Televizioni Klan (TV Klan) and consisted of two semi-finals held on 6 and 7 December and the final on 9 December 2017 at the Pallati i Kongreseve in Tirana. The three live shows were hosted by Ardit Gjebrea, Ariola Shehu and Nevina Shtylla. Anxhela Peristeri with "E Çmëndur" emerged as the winner of the contest. Format The 2017 edition of Kënga Magjike was organised by Televizioni Klan (TV Klan) and also the 19th consecutive edition of the contest. Kënga Magjike (; ) is an annual music competition organised by the Albanian television broadcaster Televizioni Klan. The music competition has been broadcasting annually since its inauguration in 1999 with the exception of 2020 and 2023. The first edition of the contest was broadcast live by Radio Televizioni Shqiptar while all the editions from 2003 by Televizioni Klan.
