EE (Eighth Avenue Local)
The E Queens Boulevard Express/Eighth Avenue Local is a rapid transit service in the B Division of the New York City Subway. Its route emblem, or "bullet", is blue since it uses the IND Eighth Avenue Line in Manhattan. The E operates 24 hours daily between Jamaica Center–Parsons Boulevard–Archer Avenue in Jamaica, Queens, and the World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan; limited rush hour service originates and terminates at 179th Street instead of Jamaica Center. Daytime service makes express stops in Queens and all stops in Manhattan; overnight service makes all stops along the full route. Jamaica Center–Parsons/Archer Station
The Jamaica Center–Parsons/Archer station (formerly the Jamaica Center–Parsons Boulevard station and sometimes shortened as the Jamaica Center station) is the northern terminal station of the IND and BMT Archer Avenue Lines of the New York City Subway, located at Parsons Boulevard and Archer Avenue in Jamaica, Queens. It is served by E (New York City Subway service), E and J/Z (New York City Subway service), J trains at all times, as well as J/Z (New York City Subway service), Z trains during rush hours in the peak direction. IND Queens Boulevard Line
The IND Queens Boulevard Line, sometimes abbreviated as QBL, is a line of the B Division of the New York City Subway in Manhattan and Queens, New York City. The line, which is underground throughout its entire route, contains 23 stations. The core section between 50th Street in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan, and 169th Street in Jamaica, Queens, was built by the Independent Subway System (IND) in stages between 1933 and 1940, with the Jamaica–179th Street terminus opening in 1950. , it is among the system's busiest lines, with a weekday ridership of over 460,000 people. IND Sixth Avenue Line
The IND Sixth Avenue Line is a rapid transit line of the B Division of the New York City Subway in the United States. It runs mainly under Sixth Avenue in Manhattan, and continues south to Brooklyn. East Broadway Station
The East Broadway station is a station on the IND Sixth Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. Located at East Broadway and Rutgers Street on the Lower East Side, it is served by the F train at all times and the <F> train during rush hours in the peak direction. The 50th Street station is a bi-level station on the IND Eighth Avenue and Queens Boulevard Lines of the New York City Subway, located at 50th Street and Eighth Avenue in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of Manhattan. IND Archer Avenue Line
The Archer Avenue lines are two rapid transit lines of the New York City Subway, mostly running under Archer Avenue in the Jamaica neighborhood of Queens. The two lines are built on separate levels: trains from the IND Queens Boulevard Line () serve the upper level, and trains from the BMT Jamaica Line () serve the lower. The two lines are separate, and do not share track connections, and therefore have different chainings and radio frequencies. The B2 ( IND Division) Archer Avenue line uses the upper level, and the B1 ( BMT Division) Archer Avenue line uses the lower level. IND Rockaway Line
The IND Rockaway Line is a rapid transit line of the IND Division of the New York City Subway, operating in Queens. It branches from the IND Fulton Street Line at Rockaway Boulevard, extending over the Jamaica Bay, into the Rockaways. At its southern end in the Rockaways, the line has two branches: one traveling east to Far Rockaway–Mott Avenue and one traveling west to Rockaway Park–Beach 116th Street. The train serves the line on the Far Rockaway branch, as well as on the section north of Hammels Wye (where the two branches merge). The IND Fulton Street Line is a rapid transit line of the IND Division of the New York City Subway, running from the Cranberry Street Tunnel under the East River through central Brooklyn to a terminus in Ozone Park, Queens.
