EDSA Station (MRT)
EDSA station is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station located on the LRT Line 1 (LRT-1) system in Pasay. The station is situated on the intersection of Taft Avenue and Epifanio de los Santos Avenue, better known as EDSA, one of Metro Manila's major thoroughfares. The station and the avenue are both named after Epifanio de los Santos, a noted historian. The station is the seventh station for trains headed to Fernando Poe Jr., the nineteenth station for trains headed to Dr. Santos, and is one of the four LRT-1 stations serving Pasay; the others are Gil Puyat, Libertad and Baclaran. Baclaran Station
Baclaran station is an elevated Light Rail Transit (LRT) station located on the LRT Line 1 (LRT-1) system in Pasay. Situated on the last stretches of Taft Avenue right at the border with Baclaran, Parañaque. The station is named after the famous shopping district of the same name, which is located on the borders of the cities of Pasay and Parañaque. Opened in 1984, the station served as the line's initial southern terminus, historically known as South Terminal, until Phase 1 of the Cavite Extension was opened in 2024. The station is the sixth station for trains headed to Fernando Poe Jr. and the twentieth station for trains headed to Dr. Santos. The EDSA Carousel, also known as Route 1 and formerly and still referred to as Route E, is a bus rapid transit (BRT) system, part of several bus routes in Metro Manila. Taft Avenue station is the southern terminus of the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) system located in Pasay.
