Dumosh-Batllava Airfield
Dumosh-Batllava Airfield or Batllava Airport (Albanian: ''Aeroporti i Batllavës''; Serbian: Аеродром Батлава / ''Aerodrom Batlava'') is a former military airport in the village of Dumosh, near Batllava Lake and the village of Batllavë and the city of Podujevë in Kosovo. This airfield is located from the city of Pristina and air distance from Pristina International Airport Adem Jashari. History In 1936, Aeroput used the airport on the Belgrade-Podujevë-Skopje line using the Aeroput MMS-3 plane. The airport was later rebuilt for military use by the Yugoslav army and air force. Kosovo Force
The Kosovo Force (KFOR) is a North Atlantic Treaty Organization, NATO-led international NATO peacekeeping, peacekeeping force and military of Kosovo. KFOR is the third security responder, after the Kosovo Police and the EU Rule of Law (European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo, EULEX) mission, respectively, with whom NATO peacekeeping forces work in close coordination. Pristina or Prishtina ( , ), . is the capital and largest city of Kosovo. It is the administrative center of the eponymous municipality and District of Pristina, district. The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) carried out an aerial bombing campaign against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia during the Kosovo War. The air strikes lasted from 24 March 1999 to 10 June 1999. Aeroput MMS-3
The Aeroput MMS-3 () was the first Yugoslavian twin-engined light three-seater passenger aircraft, produced by Aeronautical service of Aeroput for its own needs in 1935. The chief designer was the aviation engineer Milenko Mitrović - Spirta, the CTO of Aeroput. Development Design work was conducted in 1934, the designer was aeronautical engineer Milenko Mitrović - Spirta, whose initials are on the plane as the MMS label (such was then the custom among constructors of Yugoslav aircraft). The number on the label represents a 3-seater passenger plane. Mr Milenko Mitrović - Spirta was then technical director of Aeroput and suggested that the Board of Directors on the basis of his project, which was in March 1934 tested in the Eiffel wind tunnel in Paris, made for Aeroput in his workshop for repairing aircraft an airplane which would be used as aviotaxi, for whom he felt a great need. Aeroput () was an airline and flag carrier of Yugoslavia from 1927 until 1948. Society for Air traffic AD Aeroput was the first Serbian company for civil air traffic, which was founded on 17 June 1927 as ''Društvo za Vazdušni Saobraćaj "Aeroput"'' (), in the palace of the Adriatic-Danube Bank in Belgrade. Aeroput was the national carrier of the Kingdom of SHS, and then the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. Podujevë or Besianë ( sq-definite, Podujeva or ''Besiana'') or Podujevo is a List of cities in Kosovo, city and Municipalities of Kosovo, municipality in the District of Pristina, Pristina District in Kosovo.
