Francisca Valenzuela (; born March 17, 1987, in San Francisco, California) is an American-born Chilean singer, poet, and multi-instrumentalist. Valenzuela was born and raised in San Francisco, California, where she resided until the age of 12, before moving to Santiago, Chile. She gained popularity in Chile and Latin America following the release of her debut album, ''Muérdete La Lengua'', in June 2007. Her second album, ''Buen Soldado'', followed in March 2011. ''Muérdete La Lengua'' (''Bite Your Tongue'') is the debut album by American-born Chilean singer, songwriter and composer Francisca Valenzuela. The album was released on June 30, 2007 in Chile for Feria Music Records. The album's first single was "Peces" (''Fishes'') and was released in 2006. Though "Peces" did not chart, it gained Valenzuela radio play and popularity in Chile. The second and lead single of the album was "Dulce" (''Sweet''). Rolling Stone Chile included the album as number 16 in its "50 Best CDs of 2007" in an international list. In early 2008, the album was certified gold in Chile. Los Bunkers
Los Bunkers (Spanish for ''The Bunkers'') is an alternative rock band from Concepción, Chile, formed in 1999 by brothers Álvaro and Gonzalo López, Mauricio Basualto, and brothers Francisco and Mauricio Durán. They are well known in their country for their contemporary sounds of rock, based on sounds of the 1960s, from bands like The Beatles, and also including sounds from their folk roots. The band name is essentially a play on words that at the simplest level recalls Chilean rock groups of the 1960s like Los Jokers and Los Sonnys. The use of the letter B and K was also considered to be desirable by the band as it aligned themselves with some of their biggest music idols such as The Beatles and The Kinks.
