Friderica Derra de Moroda MBE (2 June 1897 – 19 June 1978) was a British dancer, choreographer and dance teacher of Greek and Hungarian descent. Career Derra de Moroda was born in Bratislava, Kingdom of Hungary, the daughter of a Greek writer and a Hungarian art historian. The family moved to Munich after the death of their father. After a ballet education, she made her debut, aged 14, on 22 February 1912 as a freelance dancer in the Vienna Secession. From 1914, she was in England and founded her first own dance school in London. From 1918 she took lessons from Enrico Cecchetti for four years and then performed for the first time in Salzburg in 1923: A solo dance evening in the Great Hall of the Mozarteum delighted the audience. Emanuel Schikaneder (born Johann Joseph Schickeneder; 1 September 1751 – 21 September 1812) was a German impresario, dramatist, actor, singer, and composer. He wrote the libretto of Mozart's opera ''Die Zauberflöte'' and was the builder of the Theater an der Wien. Peter Branscombe called him "one of the most talented theatre men of his era". ' (German for ''The Philosopher's Stone, or the Enchanted Isle'') is a singspiel in two acts, jointly composed by Johann Baptist Henneberg, Benedikt Schack, Franz Xaver Gerl, Emanuel Schikaneder, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in 1790. The libretto was written by Schikaneder. Composition ''Der Stein der Weisen'' was composed using a "team approach" in which each composer contributed individual sections of the piece. Herbert Wernicke
Herbert Wernicke (24 March 1946 – 16 April 2002) was a German opera director and a scenic design, set and costume designer. He was born in Auggen, Baden-Württemberg. He studied piano, flute, and directing at the conservatory in Braunschweig and set design at the academy in Munich. After starting out as set and costume designer in Landshut and Wuppertal Opera, Wuppertal, and directing his first play in Darmstadt, he directed his first opera, George Frideric Handel, Handel's ''Belshazzar (Handel), Belshazzar'', in 1978 in Darmstadt. The majority of Wernicke's artistic work was at the theater in Basel, where he lived since 1990.
