Dongyang University () is a private university located in Yeongju, South Korea. The graduating class of 2012 numbered 672. The current president is Sung-Hae Choi (). Academics A variety of doctoral and master's programs are also provided, mostly in engineering-related fields. It has been designated as a capacity-building university in the basic competency evaluation of universities. Location The main campus is situated in Punggi-eup, an outlying region of Yeongju City. Yeongju
Yeongju (; ) is a city in North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. It has an area of 668.84 km2 and a population of 113,930 people according to the 2008 census. The city borders Bonghwa county to the east, Danyang County of North Chungcheong Province to the west, Andong and Yecheon county to the south, and Yeongwol County of Gangwon Province to the north. Buseoksa Temple in Yeongju is outstanding as a representative temple of the Avatamsaka Sect of Silla Buddhism. Punggi-eup (Hangeul: 풍기읍; Hanja: ) is a town in the outer regions of Yeongju City, Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea. It has a population of about 16,000. Dongducheon
Dongducheon (; ) is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. The city, to the north of Seoul, is strategically important for the defense of the Korean capital. The main camps of the United States Second Infantry Division are in the city, and the division command is at Uijeongbu. Cho Kuk (; born 6 April 1965) is a South Korean politician who served as a member of the National Assembly of South Korea from May to December 2024, when he lost his seat following the Supreme Court of Korea's decision to uphold his two-year prison sentence for document falsification.
