''Document #7'' is the second full-length album by American screamo band Pg. 99, originally released in early 2001 through Happy Couples Never Last. The vinyl edition first came out on July 23, 2002, through Magic Bullet Records. There were four pressings of the album on vinyl, with a total of 1,902 vinyl copies pressed. The album's overall tone and sound is very different to other Pg. 99 releases, focussing much more on progression and atmosphere rather than energetic fury. Originally, the entire record was supposed to be the Pg.99 side of a cancelled split with Love Lost But Not Forgotten and The Hareste. The album would eventually go out-of-print for years, however Magic Bullet would release the album digitally on Bandcamp (as well as making it available on streaming services) on August 11, 2017, to coincide with the band's 2017 reunion tour. Upper Marlboro, Maryland
Upper Marlboro, officially the Town of Upper Marlboro, is the county seat of Prince George's County, Maryland, United States. As of the 2020 United States census, 2020 census, the population within the town limits was 652, although Greater Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Greater Upper Marlboro, which covers a large area outside the town limits, is many times larger. Etymology Upper Marlboro was established in 1706 as "Marlborough Town", after John Churchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough, whose heraldic arms is depicted on town insignia. In 1744, the town was renamed to "Upper Marlborough". In the late 19th century, the town's name changed from Upper Marlborough to Upper Marlboro. The name change is linked to a postal clerk who felt that the last three letters, "ugh", did not properly fit on the rubber stamps being used at the time. Hardcore punk (commonly abbreviated to hardcore or hXc) is a punk rock music genre#subtypes, subgenre and subculture that originated in the late 1970s. It is generally faster, harder, and more aggressive than other forms of punk rock. Happy Couples Never Last
Happy Couples Never Last was an American independent record label founded in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1998 by Clark Giles. According to Giles, the label started when he saved up money to take his girlfriend on a trip, however they broke up and Giles ended up using the money to help his friends release music. The label produced over 40 recordings, and is seen as an important figure during the second-wave screamo scene during the late 1990s and early 2000s, releasing early recordings by Usurp Synapse, Love Lost But Not Forgotten, and Pg. 99, as well as releasing the compilation album ''Relics of Ordinary Life'', which included contributions by various screamo acts. Other notable acts that released recordings through the label include The Plot to Blow Up the Eiffel Tower and Racebannon. The label is inactive, their latest release being issued in 2006. Magic Bullet Records was an American independent record label specialising in punk rock, heavy metal and experimental music. History Magic Bullet records was founded in 1996 by Brent Eyestone, in order to release an album by Boysetsfire, entitled '' This Crying, This Screaming, My Voice Is Being Born''. ''Document #8'' is the third studio album by the American screamo band Pg. 99. The album was originally released as a vinyl LP on June 13, 2001, through Robotic Empire, with various versions also be released through Electric Human Project and Scene Police. A remixed and remastered edition was released in 2005 through Robotic Empire on CD with two additional bonus tracks, "The Lonesome Waltz of Leonard Cohen" and "The List", the latter being a Filth cover. Both tracks were previously released on ''Document #9: A Split Personality''. The band reunited in 2011 after eight years and performed ''Document #8'' in its entirety during Best Friends Day in Richmond, Virginia. ''Document #8'' was also reissued on vinyl in 2011. The LP (from long playing or long play) is an Analog recording, analog sound storage medium, specifically a phonograph record format characterized by: a speed of revolutions per minute, rpm; a 12- or 10-inch (30- or 25-cm) diameter; use of the "microgroove" groove specification; and a vinyl (a copolymer of vinyl chloride acetate) composition disk.
