''Do Ya'' is the sixth studio album by the Australian hard rock band The Screaming Jets. It was released by StockXChange Music and distributed by Sony BMG. The album was recorded and produced in Australia and the United States and released on 13 October 2008. it was the first studio album by the band since 2000's '' Scam''. Band member Dave Gleeson said; "We have not given up hope yet, we want to proudly fly the flag of pub rock. Many of today’s kids are stuck in the iPod generation, where you don’t listen to albums anymore … you hand-pick one song and then skip to another. Do Ya (The Move Song)
"Do Ya" is a song written by Jeff Lynne, that was originally recorded by The Move, which became a hit for the Electric Light Orchestra (led by Lynne, ELO originally being a side project of The Move) in 1977. Release Written by Jeff Lynne in 1971, it was one of two songs featured on the B-side of the UK hit " California Man" credited to The Move (the other was Roy Wood's "Ella James"). In the US the B-side proved to be more popular than the A and so the song became The Move's only hit in the US albeit a minor one (number 93 on the Hot 100 chart). The song was originally titled "Look Out Baby, There's a Plane A Comin'" (which is sung by Wood at the end of the song). The song was later included on the 2005 remastered version of the '' Message from the Country'' album, in both the original single version and an alternate take. Barney Bentall And The Legendary Hearts
Barney Bentall and the Legendary Hearts are a Canadian rock band, based out of Vancouver, British Columbia that formed in 1980. The band's name was taken from the title of Lou Reed's 1983 album. Biography Bentall's first group was Brandon Wolf, a pseudonym he also used, which formed in 1978 with the original line-up consisting of: Bentall (lead vocals, keyboards, rhythm guitar), Doug McFetridge (guitar), Kevin Swain (bass) and Derek Morrison (drums) and which later changed to: Brad Kilburn (bass), Wilf Froese (keyboards) and Jack Guppy (drums). With songs written by Bentall and long-time childhood friend and songwriting partner Gary Fraser (who sometimes wrote using the pseudonym Robert Arrow), as well as McFetridge and Swain, they self-released "Excerpt from the Montmartre Letters", a 4-track 45 rpm EP in 1979. ''Nick Mason's Fictitious Sports'' is the debut solo album by Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason, released in May 1981 in the UK and the US. It was Mason's first major work outside of Pink Floyd. Inner City is an American electronic music group that formed in Detroit, Michigan, in 1987. The group was originally composed of the record producer and composer Kevin Saunderson and the Chicago, Illinois, vocalist Paris Grey. Saunderson is renowned as one of the Belleville Three—along with Juan Atkins and Derrick May—high school friends who later originated the Detroit techno sound. In February 2018, ''Billboard'' magazine ranked them as the 69th most successful dance artists of all-time. ''Impeach My Bush'' is the fourth studio album by Canadian singer Peaches, released on July 7, 2006 by XL Recordings. The album includes guest appearances by Joan Jett, Beth Ditto, Josh Homme, Samantha Maloney, Mocky and her one-time roommate Feist.
