''Division'' is the fourth studio album by the American alternative metal band 10 Years, released on May 13, 2008, through Republic Records. It has so far sold over 250,000 copies in the US. Track listing Additionally, an acoustic version of "Beautiful" is available for download with purchases through retailer f.y.e. 10 Years added the second single, So Long, Good-Bye. A rock version was added to their Myspace page which was released on October 7, 2008 and was made available on iTunes on December 16, 2008. The third single, Actions & Motives, was released as a digital bundle with the song, an acoustic version of "Russian Roulette", and a music video for "Actions and Motives" on iTunes on May 26, 2009. 10 Years (band)
10 Years is an American alternative metal band formed in Knoxville, Tennessee, in 1999. The band consists of lead vocalist Jesse Hasek, lead guitarist Brian Vodinh, rhythm guitarist Matt Wantland, and bassist Chad Grennor. The group has gone through multiple line-up changes since their inception, with Vodinh and Wantland being the only remaining founding members. To date, they have released 10 studio albums, their most recent being Deconstructed in 2022. Dean DeLeo
Dean DeLeo (born August 23, 1961) is an American guitarist known for his work with rock band Stone Temple Pilots. DeLeo is also known for his role in the short-lived bands Talk Show and Army of Anyone. He is the older brother of Robert DeLeo, who plays bass for Stone Temple Pilots. Early life DeLeo and his younger brother Robert were both born in Montclair, New Jersey, and raised in the Jersey Shore community of Point Pleasant Beach. Career Stone Temple Pilots (1985–2003, 2008–present) Dean's younger brother Robert met future vocalist Scott Weiland after the latter witnessed him perform at various gigs. Alternative Metal
Alternative metal (also known as alt-metal) is a genre of heavy metal music that combines heavy metal with influences from alternative rock and other genres not normally associated with metal. Alternative metal bands are often characterized by heavily Downtuned guitar, downtuned, mid-paced guitar riffs, a mixture of accessible melodic vocals and Screaming (music), harsh vocals and sometimes sounds that are unconventional within other heavy metal styles. The term has been in use since the 1980s, although it came into prominence in the 1990s. London Bridge Studio is a recording studio near Seattle that has hosted and recorded many influential artists, producers and engineers since 1985.
