Dischi Ricordi
Dischi Ricordi was an Italian record company founded on by and Franco Crepax (brother of Guido Crepax), active from 1958 to 1994. History Dischi Ricordi had its seat in Milan (Via Giovanni Berchet, 2). In 1994, the company was bought by BMG, who acquired the catalog while maintaining the historical logo. In October 1958, the 1st album was released by Maria Callas and, at the beginning of November, the first 45 RPM by Giorgio Gaber. Bobby Solo
Roberto Satti (born 18 March 1945), known professionally as Bobby Solo, is an Italian singer-songwriter and musician. Singing career In 1964, Solo participated in the Sanremo Music Festival with the song " Una lacrima sul viso" ("A Tear on your Face", written by " Lunero"), but affected by laryngitis, he sang with playback, which disqualified him as that was contrary to the festival regulations. The song, however, became a global hit. It was the first record to sell over one million copies in Italy, and global sales exceeded three million. It was awarded a gold disc. In the following year Solo won in the festival with the song " Se piangi, se ridi". He participated with the same song in the Eurovision Song Contest and finished in fifth place. Giorgio Faletti (; 25 November 1950 – 4 July 2014) was an Italian writer, musician, actor and comedian. Born in Asti, Piedmont, he lived on Elba Island. Aleandro Baldi (born 11 April 1959) is an Italian singer-songwriter and composer. Life and career Born in Greve in Chianti, Florence as Aleandro Civai, blind, Baldi began playing the guitar as an autodidact while he was at the Reggio Emilia College for the Blind. He debuted in 1986, entering the Sanremo Music Festival with "La nave va", a song he composed and arranged, ranking second in the "Newcomers" section. He later won the Newcomers section of the Festival in 1992, in a duet with Francesca Alotta, with the song "Non amarmi", which later became an international hit with the title " No Me Ames". Edoardo Bennato
Edoardo Bennato (born 23 July 1946) is an Italian singer-songwriter. He is the brother of the singer-songwriter Eugenio Bennato. He is considered one of the greatest artists in Italian rock, a genre that he has often combined with Blues rock, blues and Folk rock, folk. Guitarist, harmonica player and singer, he later began to propose himself as one-man band, playing at the same time also tambourines, kazoo and other percussions. Equipe 84 () were an Italian beat band formed in 1964 in Modena. The name was originally suggested by a friend of the band, Pier Farri. ''Equipe'' was thought to be a word that would resonate more easily outside of their home country, and though the origin of ''84'' is unclear, it is presumed to have been the total age of the members of the band at the moment of its inception. Originally formed by (vocals, guitar), (bass), (drums) and (guitar), Equipe 84 recorded their debut album in 1965 with the label Vedette, before signing a more lucrative agreement with Dischi Ricordi.
