Dirty Hit Limited is a British independent record label founded in February 2010 by Jamie Oborne, Chuck Waite, Brian Smith, and former England national football team, England footballer Ugo Ehiogu. Based in London since 2009, it has expanded operations to Los Angeles, Sydney, and Tokyo in 2020. Complex Magazine, ''Complex'' has stated in 2019 that, "Dirty Hit has become known for championing their artists' individuality". Benjamin Francis Leftwich
Benjamin Francis Leftwich (born 4 September 1989) is an English singer-songwriter from Heworth, York, Heworth, York. His father was Adrian Leftwich. He attended Hempland Primary School and Bootham School in York. Leftwich released his first album ''Last Smoke Before the Snowstorm'' in 2011 which peaked at #35 on the UK charts. He has released four further albums since, the most recent in February 2024. Leftwich has also co-written with other artists, including The 1975, Holly Humberstone and CMAT (musician), CMAT. Early life Leftwich began playing at the age of ten and grew up listening to the Rolling Stones and Nina Simone; later discovering Nick Drake, Bob Dylan, and Elliott Smith. Ugo Ehiogu
Ugochukwu Ehiogu (; 3 November 1972 – 21 April 2017) was an English professional footballer who played as a centre-back from 1989 to 2009. He was the coach of the Tottenham Hotspur U23 team until his death in April 2017. He played in the Premier League with lengthy spells at Aston Villa and Middlesbrough. He also played in the Football League for West Bromwich Albion, Leeds United and Sheffield United, as well as a spell in the Scottish Premier League with Rangers. He won two Football League Cups, with Aston Villa in 1996 and then with Middlesbrough in 2004. Ehiogu was an England international, with a record of 4 caps and 1 goal. In 1993, playing for the England under-21 team, he became the first black player to captain an England team in a competitive match. Timothy Lawrence Nelson, known professionally as Karma Fields and TimFromTheHouse, is an American musician, DJ, and record producer from Santa Barbara, California, currently based in Los Angeles.
