Tim Nelson (American Musician)
Timothy Lawrence Nelson, known professionally as Karma Fields and TimFromTheHouse, is an American musician, DJ, and record producer from Santa Barbara, California, currently based in Los Angeles. Having started off producing music as Betatraxx, Nelson signed to Monstercat in 2015 as Karma Fields and released his debut album, ''New Age , Dark Age,'' one year later. His second album, ''BODY RUSH'', was self-released in 2019. Nelson is also a member of electronic supergroup Associanu. Origins Nelson began uploading remixes of popular songs to YouTube in 2009, under the name TheRedlightRemixes. His first upload was a remix of Beyoncé's ''Control''. 2010-2014: Betatraxx Having started uploading music to his YouTube channel, Nelson began using the name "Redlight aka Betatraxx", before eventually deciding to exclusively use Betatraxx (occasionally stylized as BetaTraxx or BetatraXx) as his name in 2010. Electra Heart (song)
"Electra Heart" is a song recorded and produced by American disc jockey Betatraxx. It features guest vocals from Welsh singer-songwriter Marina Diamandis, released under the stage name Marina and the Diamonds, who co-wrote the track with him. Diamandis first used the song in a music video in August 2013, as part of a visual series created to promote her second studio album, ''Electra Heart'' (2012). The finalized version of "Electra Heart" was digitally distributed as a promotional single on May 5, 2014, through Pilot Records. Marina Lambrini Diamandis ( ; ; born 10 October 1985), known mononymously as Marina (often stylised in all caps) and previously by the stage name Marina and the Diamonds, is a Greek-Welsh singer, songwriter, poet and record producer. Cameron Jibril Thomaz (born September 8, 1987), better known by his stage name Wiz Khalifa, is an American rapper, singer-songwriter and actor. The Joy Formidable
The Joy Formidable is a Welsh people, Welsh alternative rock band, formed in 2007 in Mold, Flintshire, and currently based in London, England. The band consists of Rhiannon "Ritzy" Bryan (lead vocals, guitar) and Rhydian Dafydd (bass guitar, bass, vocals). The most recent album, ''Into the Blue (The Joy Formidable album), Into the Blue,'' was released in 2021.
