Dimdim Pacres
Mary Dominique "Dimdim" Pardillo Pacres is a Filipino professional volleyball player. Career Collegiate The UST Golden Tigresses had Pacres as a player at the UAAP volleyball championships. She largely played a support role to more established players for Season 79 and 80. Eya Laura's arrival in Season 81 initially relegated Pacres to the bench, but Milena Alessandrini's injury rendered back Pacres to Tigresses' first three. Early club career Pacres competed outside the PVL while still in college. She was the main player for the Power Smashers in 2017 of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL). Pacres last played for the Tacloban Fighting Warays of the PVL and the Marinerang Pilipina Lady Skippers of the Philippine Super Liga in 2018. Premier Volleyball League
The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is the top-level professional women's volleyball league in the Philippines organized by the Sports Vision Management Group, Inc. The PVL was established in 2004 as the inter-collegiate Shakey's V-League (SVL) until it rebranded to the current entity in 2017. Prior to becoming a full-fledged professional league in 2021, the PVL was open to participation of corporate owned semi-professional clubs and non-collegiate teams backed by local governments. The PVL previously operated men's and collegiate divisions before they were spun-off into Spikers' Turf and the V-League (Philippines), V-League, respectively, both are also operated by Sports Vision. The 2023 Premier Volleyball League Second All-Filipino Conference was the sixteenth conference of the Premier Volleyball League. The tournament began on October 15, 2023. This tournament was set to be the second post-pandemic import-laden conference known as the 2023 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference, with the Angels set to defend their crown, but was made into a second All-Filipino Conference as a consequence of sanctions from the Philippine National Volleyball Federation. 2021 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference
The 2021 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference was the tenth conference of the Premier Volleyball League and its first conference as a professional league. The conference started on July 17, 2021 and ended on August 13, 2021, at the PCV Socio-Civic and Cultural Center in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte in a bubble. The PVL has been approved by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) to begin team practices to be followed by the official start of the 2021 season. The Unlimited Athletics Club Power Hitters are a professional volleyball club which was set to play in the Premier Volleyball League (formerly Shakey's V-League). History The Unlimited Athletics Club was originally formed as the Peak Form Lady Spikers and slated to be one of the new teams debuting in the Premier Volleyball League's 2021 season. The Philippine Super Liga (PSL; alternatively spelled as Philippine Superliga) was a non-professional corporate club women's volleyball league in the Philippines. It was first organized by SportsCore Event Management and Consultancy, Inc. and later owned by Athletic Events & Sports Management Group (ACES), Inc. The league was envisioned to provide former collegiate players a league with which they can continue with their volleyball career. The PSL also had a men's division from 2013 to 2014, although its beach volleyball tournament both have a women's and men's division since its inception.
