On January 15, 2010, the Department of Defense complied with a court order and published a list of Captives held in the Bagram Theater Internment Facility that included the name Ahmad Dilshad. There were 645 names on the list, which was dated September 22, 2009, and was heavily redacted. According to historian Andy Worthington, author of ''The Guantanamo Files'', Ahmad Dilshad was captured in Baghdad, Iraq with four other men. Dilshad Akhtar (died 28 January 1996; sometimes spelled as Dilshad Akhter) was an Indian singer of Punjabi folk music who also worked as a playback singer in many Punjabi films. Manpreet Akhtar, his sister, and Sandeep Akhtar, his cousin, were also singers. Dilshad Khatun (; died 27 December 1351), also Delshad, was a Chobanid princess. She was the wife of Ilkhan Abu Sa'id Bahadur Khan, and after him Hasan Buzurg, the first ruler of the Jalayirid Sultanate, and the mother of his son and successor Shaikh Awais Jalayir, Shaikh Awais. Family Dilshad Khatun was the daughter of Demasq Kaja, and the granddaughter of Amir Chupan, who was the leading Mongol amir of the Ilkhanid period. Dilshad Muhammad Amin Fatah (March 28, 1947 – March 13, 1989), better known by his pen name "Dilshad Meriwani", was a Kurdish poet, playwright, actor, critic, essayist, teacher and a translator who was executed by the Iraqi government during the Saddam Hussein era on March 13, 1989, for teaching the Kurdish Latin alphabet to his students. Life and career Fatah was born on March 28, 1947, in Slemani, Iraqi Kurdistan. He graduated in 1972 from the University of Baghdad in Kurdish Language and Literature. Dilshad Najmuddin (1933 – 18 May 2018) was a senior retired Inspector general of the Police Service of Pakistan. He was educated at the renowned Woodstock School near Mussorie, India, during the 1940s and later at the Forman Christian College, Lahore. During the late 1980s, he also served as the Director of the Pakistan Narcotics Control Board (PNCB). After his retirement from the Pakistani Police, Dr. Najmuddin also served for some time as Pakistan's Ambassador to the Papal See from 1991 onwards. Dalshad Said (; ; born 1958) is a contemporary Kurdish musician. Biography Said was born in 1958 in born in Duhok, Iraqi Kurdistan. After graduating from the music institute of Baghdad, he worked as an assistant of the conductor at Baghdad television and radio orchestra. In 1984, he continued his studies in music at the University of Wales and received his M.A. degree in 1988. Said won first prize at the Eisteddfod competition in Cardiff, United Kingdom. Mirza Dilshad Beg (died June 29, 1998) was an assassinated Indian-Nepali parliamentarian. He had links with Dawood Ibrahim's D-company, a criminal syndicate.
