Dick Szymanski
Richard Frank Szymanski (Pronounced: Sa-MAN-skee) (October 7, 1932 – October 28, 2021) was an American professional football player, coach, and executive in the National Football League (NFL). As a player, Szymanski was a center and linebacker for the Baltimore Colts from 1955-1968. After retiring as a player, Szymanski remained with the Colts as a scout, personnel director, coach, and general manager from 1969-1982. Szymanski played college football at Notre Dame. As a player, Szymanski won three NFL Championships (1958, 1959, and 1968). He was named to three Pro Bowls (1955, 1962, 1964) and earned one Second-Team All-Pro selection in 1955. The Indianapolis Colts are a professional American football team based in Indianapolis, Indiana. They play in the South Division of the American Football Conference (AFC) in the National Football League (NFL). The organization began play in 1953 as the Baltimore Colts with the team located in Baltimore, Maryland; it relocated to Indianapolis following the 1983 season. The Chicago Charities College All-Star Game was a preseason American football game played from 1934 to 1976 between the National Football League (NFL) champions and a team of star college seniors from the previous year. It was also known as the College All-Star Football Classic. The game was contested annually—except for 1974, due to that year's NFL strike—and was played in July, August, or September. Terry Brennan
Terence Patrick Brennan (June 11, 1928 – September 7, 2021) was an American college football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at the University of Notre Dame from 1954 to 1958, compiling a record of 32–18. Early life and playing career A native of the Village of Whitefish Bay, Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, a suburb of Milwaukee, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Terry Brennan was a standout multi-sport athlete at Marquette University High School. Francis William Leahy (August 27, 1908 – June 21, 1973) was an American college football player and coach, college athletics administrator, and professional sports executive. He served as the head football coach at Boston College from 1939 to 1940 and at the University of Notre Dame from 1941 to 1943 and again from 1946 to 1953, compiling a career college football record of 107–13–9. His winning percentage of .864 is the second best in NCAA Division I football history, trailing only that of fellow Notre Dame Fighting Irish football, Notre Dame Fighting Irish coach Knute Rockne, for whom Leahy played from 1928 to 1930.
