is a Lithuanian long-distance runner who specialises in marathon and half marathon races. Her marathon personal record is 2:28:03. She represented her country in the marathon at the 2012 Summer Olympics and the 2011 World Championships in Athletics, 2011, 2013 World Championships in Athletics and Athletics at the 2016 Summer Olympics – Qualification, 2016 Summer Olympics. She won the Hamburg Marathon in 2013 and the Mexico City Marathon in 2016.

Marathon
The marathon is a long-distance foot race with a distance of kilometres ( 26 mi 385 yd), usually run as a road race, but the distance can be covered on trail routes. 2009 London Marathon
The 2009 London Marathon was the 29th running of the annual marathon race in London, England, which took place on Sunday, 26 April. The elite men's race was won by Kenya's Samuel Wanjiru in a time of 2:05:10 hours and the women's race was won by Germany's Irina Mikitenko in 2:22:11. In the wheelchair races, Australia's Kurt Fearnley (1:28:56) and American Amanda McGrory (1:50:39) won the men's and women's divisions, respectively.
