Denys Sahaliuk
Denys Sahaliuk (born 2002 in Kolomyia, Ukraine) is a Ukrainians, Ukrainian wrestling, wrestler. Career In 2019, Denys competed at the 2019 World Cadets Wrestling Championships, held in Sofia, Bulgaria, where he won a bronze medal in 80 kg event. Also he received a silver medal at the 2019 European Cadets Wrestling Championships in 80 kg. In the following years, Denys represented Ukraine at the 2021 European U23 Wrestling Championships in Skopje, winning a bronze medal in 86 kg event. Then he competed at the 2022 European Juniors Wrestling Championships, held in Rome, receiving a bronze medal in 92 kg event. Denys represented his country at the 2023 World Wrestling Championships, but he didn't receive any medal. The 2024 European Wrestling Championships was held from 12 to 18 February 2024 in Bucharest, Romania. At the 2024 European Championships, in accordance with sanctions imposed following by the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, wrestlers from Russia and Belarus were not permitted to use the name, flag, or anthem of Russia or Belarus.
