Denise Firmin Garner (born December 9, 1956) is an American politician serving as a member of the Arkansas House of Representatives from District 20, covering parts of Washington County and the town of Fayetteville. Garner was first elected in 2019 to the district then known as District 84, before redistricting changed the numbering of this district in 2021. Garner is a retired registered nurse practitioner, small business owner and philanthropist, with a focus on education, health and food security related causes. Charlie Collins (born November 30, 1962) is a businessman and Republican politician in Arkansas. Collins served four terms in the Arkansas House of Representatives for District 84, which encompasses part of Washington County near Fayetteville. In 2014, Collins briefly sought the Republican nomination for Lieutenant Governor of Arkansas. Following reelection in 2016, Collins sponsored legislation to allow anyone over age 21 to carry guns on college campuses and other public places. The Arkansas House of Representatives is the lower house of the Arkansas General Assembly, the state legislature of the US state of Arkansas.
