Dean Huijsen
Dean Donny Huijsen Wijsmuller (; born 14 April 2005) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for La Liga club Real Madrid. Born in the Netherlands, he plays for the Spain national team. Huijsen made his senior debut for Juventus's reserve team Juventus Next Gen in January 2023, and made his Serie A debut with the first team the following October. Following a loan spell at Roma, Huijsen signed for Premier League side AFC Bournemouth, Bournemouth in July 2024. One year later, he moved to La Liga club Real Madrid. Early life Huijsen was born in Amsterdam to Macha Wijsmuller and Donny Huijsen. Dean's father Donny played for Jong Ajax and had a professional career in the Eredivisie and the Eerste Divisie. The UEFA Nations League is an international European football competition played by the senior men's national teams of the member associations of UEFA, the sport's European governing body. The competition was devised to minimise friendlies and give nations competitive encounters with equally ranked teams.
