Dead Rabbitts are an American metalcore supergroup from Phoenix, Arizona. The band is a side project of Escape the Fate's lead vocalist, Craig Mabbitt. Dead Rabbitt's debut EP, ''Edge of Reality'', was released in 2012. The band's second EP, ''Break the Static'', was released in 2019. The band's debut album, ''Shapeshifter'', was released in 2014. The album debuted at No. 127 on the ''Billboard'' 200. The band's second studio album, ''This Emptiness'', was released in 2017. The band's third studio album, ''Rumination'', was released in 2022. The band's fourth studio album, ''Redefined'', was released in 2025. ''Shapeshifter'' is the debut album by American metalcore band The Dead Rabbitts. It was released on July 1, 2014. Background This album was released a year after the band's debut EP ''Edge of Reality'' was released. Before the announcement, the band toured with Metalcore band Eyes Set to Kill in the Arizona, US. In November 2013, the band signed with Tragic Hero Records and announced that they will be releasing an album sometime in 2014. and In December 2013. they began recording songs with Andrew Wade. The album was announced by the band a month prior to its release on May 16 and stated that the album would be released on July 1, 2014, through Tragic Hero Records. Promotion "My Only Regret" was released as the debut single off the album on May 16, 2014, along with its lyric video. The second single "Shapeshifter" was released on June 3, 2014. Craig Mabbitt
Craig Edward Mabbitt (born April 9, 1987) is an American singer and the lead vocalist for the rock band Escape the Fate. He was formerly the lead vocalist for the bands Blessthefall and The Word Alive. He is also the current lead vocalist of his side-project band Dead Rabbitts. Early life In his early childhood, Mabbitt required the frequent and scheduled use of a nebulizer as a result of severe asthma. He also had to attend a special class due to a speech disorder, but nevertheless he overcame these setbacks, and in his adolescent years, realized his "dream of becoming a singer in a rock band." Career Blessthefall (2003–2008) While with Blessthefall, Mabbitt released two self-released EPs and one full-length album. Blessthefall (stylized as blessthefall or BLESSTHEFALL prior to 2013) is an American metalcore band from Phoenix, Arizona, signed to Rise Records. The band was founded in 2004 by guitarist Mike Frisby, drummer Matt Traynor, and bassist and vocalist Jared Warth. Their debut studio album, ''His Last Walk'', with original vocalist Craig Mabbitt, was released November 7, 2006. Mabbitt left the band in 2007 and would replace Ronnie Radke in Escape the Fate. It was originally launched under Harris Publications in the spring of 2000 by Tom Beaujour and Brad Tolinski, who envisioned it as an American version of ''Mojo (magazine), Mojo''. Neil Christopher Sanderson (December 17, 1978) is a Canadian musician. He is the drummer, backing vocalist, keyboardist, and co-founder of the Canadian rock band Three Days Grace. Howard Michael Benson (born July 20, 1956) is an American record producer from Havertown, Pennsylvania. He has been nominated for two Grammy Awards for Producer of the Year, Non-Classical in 2007 and 2008, among two wins and 16 total nominations for his productions.
