Davros () is a character from the long-running British science fiction television series '' Doctor Who''. He was created by screenwriter Terry Nation, originally for the 1975 serial '' Genesis of the Daleks''. Davros is a major enemy of the series' protagonist, the Doctor, and is the creator of the Doctor's deadliest enemies, the Daleks. Genesis Of The Daleks
''Genesis of the Daleks'' is the fourth serial of the twelfth season of the British science fiction television series '' Doctor Who''. It was written by Terry Nation and directed by David Maloney, and originally broadcast in six weekly parts from 8 March to 12 April 1975 on BBC1. Skaro
Skaro is a fictional planet in the British science fiction television series '' Doctor Who''. It was created by the writer Terry Nation as the home planet of the Daleks. In '' The Daleks'' (1963–64), Skaro is described as being the twelfth planet from its sun, while in '' Genesis of the Daleks'' (1975) it is stated that Skaro is situated in the "Seventh Galaxy". It is portrayed as having various moons: Flidor, Falkus and Omega Mysterium, with Falkus being presented as an artificial construct created by the Daleks as a last refuge. The Witch's Familiar
"The Witch's Familiar" is the second episode of the ninth series of the British science fiction television series '' Doctor Who''. It was first broadcast on BBC One on 26 September 2015. Terry Molloy
Terry Molloy (born 4 January 1947) is an English actor. He is known predominantly for his work on radio and television, especially his portrayal of Davros, creator of the Daleks, in the BBC television science fiction series ''Doctor Who''. Career Molloy has been a member of the cast of BBC Radio 4's ''The Archers'' playing Mike Tucker since 1974 and has won awards for his work as an actor on radio. In 1980 he performed in the Radio 4 adaptation of Nicholas Monsarrat's war novel '' The Cruel Sea''. Michael Wisher
Michael Wisher (19 May 1935 – 21 July 1995) was an English actor. He made many appearances in '' Doctor Who'', becoming best known for his performance in ''Genesis of the Daleks'' (1975) as the first actor to play Davros, the wheelchair-using scientific mastermind and creator of the Daleks. Julian Bleach (born 29 December 1963) is an English actor, singer and playwright, who is known as co-creator and " MC" of '' Shockheaded Peter'', a musical entertainment based on the works of Heinrich Hoffmann, which won the 2002 Olivier Award for Best Entertainment. Terry Nation
Terence Joseph Nation (8 August 19309 March 1997) was a British screenwriter and novelist. Especially known for his work in British television science fiction, he created the Daleks and Davros for '' Doctor Who'', as well as the series '' Survivors'' and '' Blake's 7''. Nation first made his name as a comedy writer before becoming a prolific writer for drama, working on many of the most popular British series of the 1960s and 1970s such as ''The Avengers'', ''The Baron'', '' The Champions'', '' Department S'', ''The Persuaders!'' and '' The Saint''. When Nation was commissioned to write '' The Daleks'' (1963) for ''Doctor Who'', the villainous eponymous creatures established the series' early popularity. David Gooderson
David Gooderson (born 24 February 1941) is an English actor who has appeared in several television roles.
