David Lindley (badminton)
David Lindley (born 23 April 1979) is an English badminton player and coach. The right-handler, Lindley started playing badminton at aged six, and in the junior event, he becoming boys' doubles U-19 national champion in 1997 and 1998. Lindley junior also won the mixed doubles bronze medal at the 1997 European Junior Championships in Nymburk, Czech Republic. In the international event, he won double title at the 2000 Scottish and Iceland International, and at the 2006 Slovak International tournaments in the men's and mixed doubles event. In the national event, Lindley who represented Nottinghamshire, was the men's doubles finalist at the national championships in 2004 partnered with Kristian Roebuck, 2006 with Simon Archer, 2007 with Chris Langridge, and in 2008 with Richard Eidestedt, Now he work as assistant pathway coach at the England national badminton team. Badminton
Badminton is a racquet sport played using racket (sports equipment), racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net (device), net. Although it may be played with larger teams, the most common forms of the game are "singles" (with one player per side) and "doubles" (with two players per side). Badminton is often played as a casual outdoor activity in a Yard (land), yard or on a beach; professional games are played on a rectangular indoor court. Points are scored by striking the shuttlecock with the racquet and landing it within the other team's half of the court, within the set boundaries. Donna Kellogg
Donna Victoria Kellogg, (born 20 January 1978) is an English former badminton player. She is the European Champion, winning the women's doubles titles in 2000, 2006 and the mixed doubles title in 2008. She won the silver medal at the 2006 World Championships. Kellogg also won the women's doubles title at the 1998 Commonwealth Games, and was part of the England winning team at the 1998 and 2002 Commonwealth Games. Career Kellogg first played badminton at the age of 10. Her first representative match for England was against China at the 1997 World Championships in Scotland. The England national badminton team represents England in international badminton team competitions and is controlled by ''Badminton England'', the governing body for badminton in England. The English team is ranked 13 on the world ranking and has had many appearances in international team events. England were runners-up at the 1963 and the 1984 Uber Cup. Richard Eidestedt (born 20 June 1987) is an English male badminton player, and currently plays for Sweden. In 2008, he won the Irish, Le Volant d'Or, and Scotland International tournaments in the men's doubles event partnered with Andrew Ellis. Chris Langridge
Christopher Phillip Langridge (born 2 May 1985) is a retired British badminton player. He competed for England at the 2014 Commonwealth Games where he won three medals. He represented Great Britain at the 2016 Summer Olympics, and won a bronze medal in the men's doubles, partnered with Marcus Ellis. They also won gold medals at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and 2019 European Games. Early life and education Chris Langridge was born on 2 May 1985 in Epsom, Surrey. Langridge was educated at Therfield School, a state comprehensive school in the town of Leatherhead in Surrey in southern England. The school were twice National Schools champions. Langridge was introduced to badminton when he was ten by his teacher Jackie Cunningham who was a badminton coach of the county, and within 18 months at the age of twelve he made the England team. Simon David Archer Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, MBE (born 27 June 1973) is an English former badminton player. Archer once held the world record for the fastest smash at 162 mph.
