David Briggs (American Musician)
David Paul Briggs (March 16, 1943 – April 22, 2025) was an American keyboardist, record producer, arranger, composer and studio owner. Briggs was one of an elite core of Nashville studio musicians known as "the Nashville Cats" and was featured in a major exhibition by the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2015. He played his first recording session at the age of 14 and went on to add keyboards to a plethora of pop, rock, and country artists, as well as recording hundreds of corporate commercials. He was born in Killen, Alabama. Life and career In May 1966, he was given the opportunity of recording on sessions for Elvis Presley's album ''How Great Thou Art'' when Floyd Cramer was running late. Tony Joe White
Tony Joe White (July 23, 1943 – October 24, 2018), nicknamed the Swamp Fox, was an American singer-songwriter and guitarist, best known for his 1969 hit " Polk Salad Annie" and for "Rainy Night in Georgia", which he wrote but which was first made popular by Brook Benton in 1970. He also wrote " Steamy Windows" and "Undercover Agent for the Blues", both hits for Tina Turner in 1989; those two songs came by way of Turner's producer at the time, Mark Knopfler, who was a friend of White. Waylon Arnold Jennings (June 15, 1937 – February 13, 2002) was an American singer, songwriter, musician, and actor. Area Code 615 was an American progressive country, progressive country rock band from Nashville, Tennessee, Nashville, active in the late 1960s and early 1970s, taking its name from the telephone area code, which at the time covered all of Central and Eastern Tennessee.
