Datta Davjekar
Dattatreya Shankar Davjekar (Born on 15 November 1917. died ), better known as Datta Davjekar or Datta Daujeker (), was a veteran music composer mainly associated with Marathi and Hindi movies. He is credited for giving a break to many singers who became extremely popular over a period of time, including the Mangeshkar siblings, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosale and Usha Mangeshkar as well as others such as Anuradha Paudwal. Career Datta Davjekar's father Baburao used to play tabla for live folk musical plays as well as in Urdu plays. Davjekar learned how to play tabla and harmonium and thus developed an interest in music. He also started composing songs. Later, he was invited by the famous star Shanta Apte to perform on her shows. Davjekar performed at places as far off as Allahabad and Lahore. Davjekar assisted C. A composer is a person who writes music. The term is especially used to indicate composers of Western classical music, or those who are composers by occupation. Raja Thakur
Raja Thakur (1923–1975) was an Indian film director who primarily worked in the Marathi film industry. He is best known for his films ''Me Tulas Tujhya Angani'' (1955), ''Rangalya Ratree Ashya'' (1962), ''Ektee'' (1968), '' Mumbaicha Jawai'' (1970), ''Gharkul'' (1971) and ''Jawai Vikat Ghene Aahe'' (1972); for which he won National and State-level awards. Shanta Apte
Shanta Apte (1916–1964) was an Indian actress-singer who worked in Marathi language, Marathi and Hindi cinema. Renowned for her roles in films like ''Duniya Na Mane/Kunku'' (1937) and ''Amar Jyoti'' (1936) under the Prabhat Films banner, she was active in Indian cinema from 1932 to 1958.
