Daryl Ong
Daryl Neilsonn Ong (born March 24, 1987) is a Filipino singer and songwriter. He rose to fame after joining the singing competition '' The Voice of the Philippines''. When Ong sang his blind audition piece "Paano" (original by Gary Valenciano) for ''The Voice of the Philippines'' Season 2, he impressed the judges and the Filipino viewers. Life and career Before he push through his singing career, he was a cartoonist in ABS-CBN. Ong was an animator of the popular Filipino animated series, "Super Inggo at ang Super Tropa". The animated series was the first 100% Pinoy Filipino animated TV series. From being a member of a boy group named "Voices of 5", he started doing a plenty of song covers, such as "All of Me", "Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko", "Rude" “ Ikaw Na Nga" which gives new flavour to the listeners and posted it on his own YouTube channel which gained hundreds and thousands of views. Puerto Princesa, officially the City of Puerto Princesa ( Cuyonon: ''Siyudad i'ang Puerto Princesa''; fil, Lungsod ng Puerto Princesa), is a 1st class highly urbanized city in the Mimaropa region of the Philippines. ''Gandang Gabi, Vice!'' () is a Philippine late-night comedy talk show broadcast by ABS-CBN, hosted by Vice Ganda. The program premiered from May 22, 2011, and aired every Sunday from 9:30 PM to 10:30 PM, on the network's ''Yes Weekend!'' block. ''Masked Singer Pilipinas'' is a Philippine reality singing competition television series broadcast on TV5 which premiered on October 24, 2020. It is an adaptation of the ''Masked Singer'' franchise and features celebrities singing covers of famous songs while wearing head-to-toe costumes and face masks that conceal their identities. Hosted by Billy Crawford, the program features several panelists who are given various clues regarding the celebrities' identities to guess who they could be after each performance. At the end of each episode, the panelists and the audience vote for their favorite singer and the least popular is eliminated, taking off their mask to reveal their identity. The first season was won by Daryl Ong as "2-2-B", with Katrina Velarde as "Diwata" and Carlyn Ocampo as "Pusa-way" as the first and second runners-up, respectively.
