Daniel Ting
Daniel Sang Ting (born 1 December 1992) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for Malaysia Super League club Sabah, on loan from Johor Darul Ta'zim. Born in England, he plays for the Malaysia national team. Ting paused his career for two years to move to Australia from 2019 until 2020. Club career Youth Ting started his football career in England. He was on the books of Crewe Alexandra earlier in his career but were released in 2012 without playing any first team match with them. He has also played for Market Drayton Town, Congleton Town, and Ossett Albion. Johor Darul Ta'zim II In 2016, Ting moved to Malaysia and signed with Johor Darul Ta'zim II, who loaned him to Malaysia Premier League club Negeri Sembilan for the 2016 season. The Malaysia Premier League () was the second-tier professional football league in Malaysia. It replaced the Liga Perdana 2 in the Malaysian football league system. The 2023 AFC Asian Cup was the 18th edition of the AFC Asian Cup, the quadrennial international Association football, football tournament organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The 2022 Malaysia Premier League was the 19th season of the Malaysia Premier League, the second-tier professional football league in Malaysia since its establishment in 2004. This was the last season of Malaysia Premier League as the league discontinued from the following year. A possible 6 non-feeder teams from this league were planned to be promoted to the upcoming 18-team expansion Malaysia Super League next season. The 2021 Malaysia Cup ( Malay: ''Piala Malaysia 2021'') was the 95th edition of Malaysia Cup tournament organised by the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) and the Malaysian Football League (MFL). The defending champions were Johor Darul Ta'zim, who won it in the 2019 edition, as the 2020 edition was cancelled midway during the tournament due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Malaysia.
