Daniel Carvalho
Daniel da Silva Carvalho (born 1 March 1983), more commonly known as Daniel Carvalho, is a Brazilian former football attacking midfielder. Club career Carvalho started his career in his native state of Rio Grande do Sul at Sport Club Internacional before transferring to CSKA Moscow in early 2004, which at the time was coached by Artur Jorge, and where he would link up with fellow Brazilian compatriots Vágner Love, Dudu Cearense, and Jô, all of whom joined the team within his first two seasons at the club. Carvalho scored the winning goal on his debut in the 2004 Russian Super Cup game, a 3–1 extra time victory against Spartak Moscow. In 2005, he became the first foreign player to be named Russian Footballer of the Year by '' Futbol'' and ''Sport-Express''. The 2004 Russian Super Cup was the 2nd Russian Super Cup match, a football match which was contested between the 2003 Russian Premier League champion, CSKA Moscow and the winner of 2002–03 Russian Cup, Spartak Moscow. The match was held on 7 March 2004 at the Lokomotiv Stadium in Moscow, Russia. Alexandro Silva de Sousa (born 15 April 1983), known as Dudu Cearense or simply Dudu, is a Brazilian former professional footballer. He is known for his passing, aerial ability and tackling. He was a central midfielder who usually played either in a holding midfield role or as a box-to-box midfielder. Despite often being used in a defensive position, he was mainly an attacking player. Vágner Silva de Souza (born 11 June 1984), known as Vágner Love, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Série B club Avaí. Artur Jorge Braga de Melo Teixeira (13 February 1946 – 22 February 2024), commonly known as Artur Jorge, was a Portuguese football player and manager. Club career As a junior player, Artur Jorge started at the junior team of FC Porto. As professional player, he played for Académica de Coimbra and Benfica, before ending his career at Belenenses in the 1977–78 season, due to a serious injury suffered at a training session in the Estádio Nacional where he broke a leg.
