Dan Yeager
Dan Yeager (born January 1, 1965) is an American actor, art director, writer, producer, and director who is known for his portrayal of the fictional cannibalistic killer Leatherface in the 2013 American slasher film ''Texas Chainsaw 3D'' (2013). Early life Yeager was born and grew up in a small farm town south of Cleveland, Ohio. As a child in the 1960s, he enjoyed watching horror and science fiction on television. His parents had too little resources for regular trips to the movie theater, but the family did enjoy an occasional night at the drive-in theater. In his early teens, Yeager saw the movie '' Boys in the Band''. He found a copy of the play, and after reading it, decided he would like to be an actor. ''Count Yorga, Vampire'' (also known as ''The Loves Of Count Iorga, Vampire'') is a 1970 American vampire horror film written and directed by Bob Kelljan and starring Robert Quarry, Roger Perry and Michael Murphy. ''The Texas Chain Saw Massacre'' is a 1974 American horror film produced and directed by Tobe Hooper from a story and screenplay by Hooper and Kim Henkel. It stars Marilyn Burns, Paul A. Robert Walter Quarry (November 3, 1925 – February 20, 2009) was an American actor, known for several prominent horror film roles. Life and career Quarry was born in Santa Rosa, California, the son of Mable (née Shoemaker) and Paul Quarry, a doctor. His grandmother was an actress. He left school at the age of 14 to pursue a career in radio. During World War II in November 1943, Quarry joined the United States Army, where he formed a theatrical troupe. After the war he acted again, first for RKO and then for MGM. Leatherface is a fictional character in ''The Texas Chainsaw Massacre'' film series created by Kim Henkel and Tobe Hooper.
