Dan Fisher (Oklahoma)
Dan Fisher (born 1958) is a former Republican member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives representing District 60 from 2012 to 2016. Fisher did not seek re-election to the Oklahoma House of Representatives in 2016. On August 22, 2017, Fisher declared that he would run for governor of Oklahoma in 2018. Background Dan Fisher grew up in Van Buren, Arkansas. Fisher earned his B. A. in Secondary Education and Mathematics from Arkansas Tech University. The 2018 Oklahoma gubernatorial election was held on November 6, 2018. Republican businessman Kevin Stitt was elected the governor of the state, succeeding fellow Republican Mary Fallin, who was term-limited. John Kevin Stitt (born December 28, 1972) is an American businessman and politician serving as the 28th governor of Oklahoma. A member of the Republican Party, he began his first term as governor in January 2019 and was reelected to a second term in 2022. Todd Lamb (born October 19, 1971) is an American politician who served as the 16th lieutenant governor of Oklahoma from 2011 to 2019.
