Dan Carey (record Producer)
Daniel De Mussenden Carey (born 24 December 1969) is an English record producer, songwriter, mixer and remixer. He owns his own studio in South London and runs the record label Speedy Wunderground. In 2014, Carey received two Mercury Prize nominations for his production work on two nominated albums: ''Everybody Down'' by Kae Tempest and ''First Mind'' by Nick Mulvey. In 2019, Carey earned two further Mercury Prize nominations for his production work on the albums ''Schlagenheim'' by Black Midi and ''Dogrel'' by Fontaines D.C. Carey produced and played synthesizer on the debut album by the British band Wet Leg. Carey previously produced for the London-based labels Dust Records, Dust2Dust and DMI. He was also one half of the group Danmass, which released music on all three labels and Skint Records. Danmass released one album, ''Formfreaks'', on Dust2Dust in 1999. Partisan Records is an independent record label with offices in London, Berlin, and Los Angeles, as well as in New York City, where the company was co-founded in 2007 by Tim Putnam and Ian Wheeler. The label, initially run out of Putnam's South Brooklyn apartment, relocated in 2009 to Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Williamsburg. Grian Chatten
Grian Alexander Chatten (; born 19 July 1995) is an Irish musician, best known as the lead singer and lyricist of post-punk band Fontaines D.C. Early life Grian Chatten was born in Barrow-in-Furness, England on 19 July 1995 to an English mother and Irish father. The family moved to Ireland when Chatten was a month old and lived a "nomadic lifestyle" before settling in Skerries, County Dublin when he was twelve years old. Chatten moved to The Liberties in Dublin and attended The British and Irish Modern Music Institute, where he met guitarists Conor Curley and Carlos O'Connell, bass player Conor Deegan, and drummer Tom Coll. Along with a passion for music, the group held a shared interest in poetry, and published three pamphlets together. After graduating, they formed the band Fontaines D.C. in 2017.
