Damien Perquis
Damien Albert René Perquis (born 10 April 1984) is a former professional footballer and current assistant coach of Gazélec Ajaccio's B-team. A defender, he represented France at youth level, before acquiring Polish citizenship and playing for Poland at senior level. He retired in June 2020, after an 18-year professional career. Personal life Perquis was born in Troyes, France. He is of Polish descent by way of his grandmother, Józefa Bierła. His Polish ancestors were from Strzyżewko, in central Poland. He is married, and has two children. Club career Troyes Perquis came up through the Troyes AC youth system. Damien Perquis (; born 8 March 1986) is a French footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Saint-Amand FC. He has formerly played professionally for Caen and Valenciennes. He became first-choice goalkeeper in 2012, when he succeeded Alexis Thébaux in Caen. In July 2020, after returning to Valenciennes FC from a loan spell at Dutch Eerste Divisie club TOP Oss, Perquis signed with lower league side Saint-Amand FC, who competed in the Régional 1 Ligue Hauts-de-France, one of the sixth tiers of the French football league system. Ligue 2 (, League 2), also known as Ligue 2 BKT due to sponsorship by Balkrishna Industries, is a French professional football league. The league serves as the second division of French football and is one of two divisions making up the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP), the other being Ligue 1, the country's top football division. The 2012 UEFA European Football Championship, commonly referred to as UEFA Euro 2012 or simply Euro 2012, was the 14th European Championship for men's national football teams organised by UEFA. The final tournament, held between 8 June and 1 July 2012, was co-hosted by Poland and Ukraine (both first time hosts), and was won by Spain, who beat Italy 4–0 in the final at the Olympic Stadium, Kyiv, Ukraine. Franciszek Smuda
Franciszek Smuda (; born 22 June 1948) is a Polish football coach and former footballer who also holds a German passport. As a player, he spent his career playing for clubs in Poland, the United States and Germany. In 1983, he turned to coaching, becoming the manager of Widzew Łódź, Wisła Kraków, Legia Warsaw and Lech Poznań, among others. He has won three Polish league titles.
