Daman-e-Koh
Daman-e-Koh () is a hilltop garden north of Islamabad. It is in the center of the Margalla Hills. The name is a fusion of two Persian words "Dāman" (دامن) meaning "skirt" and "Kōh" (کوہ) meaning "hill", which collectively denote "foothills". It is about 2400 ft above sea level and about 500 ft above Islamabad. The area is a popular destination for both residents and tourists. Tourist treats are a popular attraction for monkeys. Leopards are reported to descend from higher hills of Murree during the winter months. Airblue Flight 202 crashed near here on 28 July 2010. Access Daman-e-Koh is located on the route to Pir Sohawa, which is approximately 3600 ft above sea level. Since the road is slender and winding, it is cited as a reason for traffic jams for the lack of public transportation alternatives. The Margalla Hills () are a hill range within the Margalla Hills National Park on the northern edge of Islamabad Capital Territory, Pakistan, just south of Haripur District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Seventh Avenue (Islamabad)
Seventh Avenue, also known as the Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi Avenue, is a signal free road located in Islamabad. It starts from the intersection on Khayaban-e-Iqbal (Margalla Road) near Islamabad Zoo, and ends at the intersection on Srinagar Highway. Seventh Avenue was built at a cost of about PKR 70 million. Airblue Flight 202 was a scheduled domestic passenger flight departing from Karachi—a sprawling coastal metropolis in southern Pakistan and the nation's largest city—en route to Islamabad, the country's capital city located in the northern region, nestled in the foothills of the Margalla Hills. Pir Sohawa
Pir Sohawa (Urdu: پیر سوہاوہ) is a rapidly developing tourist resort located from Islamabad on top of Margalla Hills. It has a 3000 plus ft elevation and is geographically part of Haripur District.
