DXSS-FM
DXSS (97.9 FM broadcasting, FM), broadcasting as 97.9 XFM, is a radio station owned by Southern Broadcasting Network and operated by XFM (Philippines), Y2H Broadcasting Network, Inc. It serves as the flagship station of XFM Philippines. Its studio and transmitter are located at the SBN Compound, Broadcast Ave., Shrine Hills, Brgy. Matina Crossing, Davao City. It is considered to be pioneer FM station in the city. History DXSS began its operations in 1977. At that time, it was an affiliate of GMA Network (company), GMA Network. It aired an Album-oriented rock, AOR format. In 1995, GMA ended its partnership with SBN. Not long after, DXSS rebranded as Music Now and switched to an Adult Top 40 format. In 2002, the station rebranded as Mom's Radio 97.9 with a music and talk format targeting the mothers and mother-to-be. In 2010, it rebranded back as DXSS with limited broadcast time. XFM (Philippines)
XFM is a Philippine broadcast FM radio network owned by Y2H Broadcasting Network. It is based in Tagum, Davao del Norte. It began its broadcast in February 28, 2022, when a group of mediamen led by Yes2Health CEO Dr. Remelito Y. Uy, took over the operations of RMCBC-owned DXDE-FM in Tagum. This formed the nucleus of XFM until it transferred its base operations to DXSS-FM in Davao City later that year. After its successful launch, XFM expanded into various markets across the country by the use of airtime lease management. Aside from its news and music programming, XFM also airs gospel music every Friday 6:00 pm to Saturday 6:00 pm under ''The Gospel Hour'' block due to its owner's affiliation with the Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement. DXDE (100.7 FM), broadcasting as 100.7 Juander Radyo, is a radio station owned by Rizal Memorial Colleges Broadcasting Corporation and operated by RSV Broadcasting Network. Its studio and transmitter are located at Oesom Bldg., Sobrecary St, Brgy Poblacion, Tagum. History The station was established on March 15, 2014, as One Radio under the Radyo ni Juan network. At that time, it was located at Purok Bautista, Brgy. Mankilam. On December 2, 2020, it, along with the other Radyo ni Juan stations, went off the air due to financial problems.
