''DC Compendium'' is a line of standard-size, softcover editions published by DC Comics since 2020, reprinting comics previously printed in single issue format. The line focuses on chronological reprints of the earliest years of stories featuring the company's lesser-known characters like Animal Man and Starman, as well as series and characters originally published under some of DC Comic's imprints like Vertigo Comics and WildStorm Productions. Compendium
A compendium ( compendia or compendiums) is a comprehensive collection of information and analysis pertaining to a body of knowledge. A compendium may concisely summarize a larger work. In most cases, the body of knowledge will concern a specific field of human interest or endeavour (for example: hydrogeology, logology (science), logology, ichthyology, phytosociology or myrmecology), while a general encyclopedia can be referred to as a "compendium of all human knowledge". The word ''compendium'' arrives from the Latin word ''compeneri'', meaning "to weigh together or balance". The 21st century has seen the rise of democratized, online compendia in various fields. Batman '66
''Batman '66'' is an American superhero comic book series published by DC Comics featuring Batman as a continuation of the 1966–1968 television series starring Adam West and Burt Ward as Batman and Robin. The series was written primarily by Jeff Parker and Tom Peyer, with cover art by Mike Allred. It published 30 issues from 2013 to 2016, although the setting has been used in occasional crossovers since 2016. Ion (DC Comics)
Ion is a fictional character, a DC Comics superhero. Created by writer Judd Winick and artist Dale Eaglesham for ''Green Lantern (comic book), Green Lantern'' (vol. 3) #142, Ion was devised as the new superhero identity for ''Green Lantern'' protagonist Kyle Rayner. Guy Gardner (character)
Guy Darrin Gardner, one of the characters known as Green Lantern, is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, usually in association with the Green Lantern Corps, of which he is a member. Gardner has also been a member of various incarnations of the Justice League. Gardner has been substantially adapted into media outside comics, primarily in association with the Green Lanterns. James Arnold Taylor, Diedrich Bader, and Troy Baker have voiced the character in animation.
