National Unity (Armenia)
National Unity () is a conservative political party in Armenia. It was founded and led by Artashes Geghamyan from 1997 until his death in 2024. History In the parliamentary election held on 25 May 2003, the party won 8.8% of the popular vote and 9 out of 131 seats in the National Assembly of Armenia. In the 2003 presidential election, Geghamyan received 17.54% of the vote in the first round, but was eliminated prior to the second round of voting. In the 2007 parliamentary election, the party did not win any seats, receiving a popular vote of 3.69%. The party has not participated in any parliamentary elections since 2007. In the February 2008 presidential election, Geghamyan, running again as the National Unity Party's candidate, placed seventh with 0.46% of the vote according to final official results. National Unity was an Irish nationalist political study group in Northern Ireland. Nationalism in Northern Ireland in the late 1950s was dominated by the Nationalist Party (Northern Ireland), Nationalist Party. This effectively operated as a network of elected politicians. National Unity or State Camp () is an Israeli political alliance made up of former IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz's Israel Resilience Party, former IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot and MK Matan Kahana. The Nasjonal Samling (, NS; ) was a Norway, Norwegian far-right politics, far-right political party active from 1933 to 1945. It was the only legal party of Norway from 1942 to 1945. It was founded by former minister of defence Vidkun Quisling and a group of supporters such as Johan Bernhard Hjortwho led the party's paramilitary wing (''Hirden'') for a short time before leaving the party in 1937 after various internal conflicts. The party celebrated its founding on 17 May, Norwegian Constitution Day, Norway's national holiday, but was founded on 13 May 1933.
